P!Nk, along with many others have gotten lots of attention recently for having things thrown on stage. Many says it should just become banned. But I feel like that is part of the interactions that all of us have come to love with Alecia and it makes the whole show feel more intimate. Do you think it should be banned? Or do you have any good solutions?
I think she should just state in her first talking area to just pass it to security who can pass it onto stage, or they should move the barrier closer to the stage. I mean at the BT tour in arenas you could literally put your camera like on the edge of the stage from the look of some videos. Is that just too dangerous for stadiums or??

I absolutely think it should be banned. It must be scary for the performer because 1. For a split second they dont know what it is and if it'll hurt them and tbh there are a very small minority of people that would throw something to hurt them and that must be scary for them. And 2. What if it hits them and hurts them. Even cuddly toys could hit her eye and knock her off the performance. I think what should happen and I have seen it happen before, if a fan wants to give her something, they give it to the security guard to pass to pink on stage. I 100% agree throwing things on stage should be banned. Like even someone throwing a cuddly toy on stage and pink doesn't see it and steps and slids on it or one of the dancers. I feel like a killjoy but I do think it's a bit dangerous tbh

I think another thing to consider is, how many times have people thrown things with injury versus without? Alecia has performed well over 10,000 times. Has she ever gotten hurt? If she got hurt 100 times, that's still a 1% chance. Is that too much risk?

I mean I have never thrown anything, I just gave it to her at one gig, but she is bombarded by toys and gifts since forever and she LOVES it. Of course now she said that do not throw at her, which is obvious, but banning it? Naaah.

Didn’t someone recently throw a cup then she said she would kick their ass? 😂

I always had the feeling she enjoys getting things thrown on stage. Of course you should only throw soft things like shirts or plushies. When hard and heavy things are thrown it can get dangerous. Wasnt there a singer that got hurt from a phone recently? I mean this is common sense but i feel like nowadays thats not something you can rely on anymore

I think she is generally happy with things being given to her and even thrown on stage at the right time and right spot. But in Vienna someone threw a pair of glasses at her mid-sentence when she was sitting at the end of the catwalk and it really hit her hard and she clearly got really pissed and explained that it could really hurt her. People just need to be sensible i guess. Also i think part of the job for security is to make sure the stage is clear so there’s no danger of slipping or tripping.
That being said i LOVED how there was basically no barrier during the TTAL tour. That was amazing to be so close to the stage.

Having no barrier also means you can gently place it onto the stage instead of having to throw it at all.

He’s very tall and could just place a gift on the big speakers around the acoustic set so easily. I swear he could touch her legs when she was close enough, i think he did 😂 ah good times. She doesn’t do any hand holding anymore during JLAP. That used to be my favourite part ❤️

Completely understandable of course especially now after Covid. In Vienna Justin had a cold so she sat extra far from him too haha ❤️

And it would have been a bit weird too, just imagine the Touch Myself routine but with first row fans 😂 but we held hands during U+UH and placing my gift on the stage was pretty easy too 😍
