Then I remember after some time that Most girls was released and I kept thinking she’s still as cool, it wasn’t just that one video … and that’s how it all started so just like me, you are in your 40s?

Hooker Dani we are so lucky to have witnessed the monoculture of the music industry before monoculture died due to streaming in the mid 2010s. Pop stars like P!nk were larger than life back then. We never knew anything about her unless we went to her shows or saw her perform at award shows like VMA and Grammy.

MTV was the gateway to discovering new music/new artists until around 2005 when the Internet truly exploded. 2) No. I'm new here. But I have stanned for her since February 2000: never missed a tour, never missed an album's release week. 3) Just an observation based on her chart history: she's very popular in Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden (your country) and Denmark).

They search YouTube now and have what they want.

Hearing There You Go. But I’d say hearing her on the radio doing Janis Joplin for the 9/11 show really set a memory in my mind.

I want a real album tour. multiple gigs in open fields, or better stadiums, arena’s doesn’t have the best sound imo I didn’t go to the pinkpop festival because i’m not a festival type. I really don’t like being there at 12.00 and waiting till 22.00 i’m old and tired haha

I still have no idea how my mum did not think I was gay when I was singing along to "just u and ur hand toniiiiiight"

My first memories of P!nk was watching There You Go's music video on MTV in February 2000. Same. I was in the kitchen when it came on, so I only heard the first bit and already was like: Ooooooooooo this is goooooood! Then I walked into the living room and saw this pink-haired chick busting her motorcycle into her exes loft apartment and I was sold! Fell in love

the album (with the special clear pink plastic spine/CD tray!). When I first heard Split Personality I was salivating, and by the end of the album I was completely and utterly hooked. Did you buy the album on its release date or many weeks later? albums were not frontloaded back then.

Her first live TV performance in the US was on Jay Leno on 14 April 2000.
