I think P!nk became an icon at the end of the Funhouse era and a legend at the end of the The Truth About Love era. With the Beautiful Trauma Tour, she solidified her legend status. With the Summer Carnival Tour, she is definitely on the same legend status with Madonna in Europe and Australia. In the US, P!nk is underrated but she is definitely a legend for Adult Contemporary audience.

she was always a legend to me… I remember in 2006 the newspaper here in the netherlands was just awful, comparing her to madonna..and judging her voice..and now..it’s praising her. she didn’t change! the media is horrible..and back then it was worse..
I keep those newspapers tho..I put them in my album with all the pictures and tickets ect. it’s in dutch so most of you can’t read that. but trust me it’s no good.
I remember when we had to cue for buying tickets, so I did with my dad..we came super early and when the post office opend my dad and I were alone..the shop owner said “huh? is there a event selling today” so yeah..that sums it up pretty much… the Amsterdam arena was sold out in like 8 minutes in 2019 😅 in my opinion these “new” fans didn’t appreciate her back then..and we did..we always did.
