This is a bit of a random video published this week of some music industry professionals chatting about P!nk's early LaFace days.

I wanna hear Streets Of Philly now! Also includes a rare photo of her with curly, ginger hair. Clearly, she and Justin go way back.

Pink used Black music as a stepping stone and then she turned her back on Black folks...

I find statements such as the one above (taken from the video's comments) troubling and kind of ignorant.

She includes an R&B-infused track on almost every one of her albums, and still loves the genre.

She never turned her back on 'Black folks', which is obvious in the music professionals she collaborates with.

She's just found a musical space that she feels most comfortable in.

Musically, she owes no-one anything but her honest expression.
