Okay. Okay. I'm a scatter brain and my thoughts are usually all over the place, so try your best to follow along.
What can I say? The last 2 nights were the most magical moments of my life. I've had experiences with P!nk in the past but nothing will compare to this.
So originally I bought myself a VIP ticket for the 10th in Boston, after I missed out on getting one for the 9th. I knew I would eventually buy a ticket for the 9th when resale tickets started popping up.
Thanks to the amazing Hookedonspice for finding me a ticket that was cheaper than the one I paid for on the 10th. My next mission was finding a ticket for my niece (who is 8) she absolutely loves P!nk
and every time we are together we watch P!nk videos for hours. I promised her last year that If P!nk comes to Boston, I would make sure she was there. So about a month ago I found 2 Pit tickets on Ticketmaster
for the 9th. They were unbelievably expensive but I I had to get them for my niece (and her mom) because it was an experience I knew we needed to have. I'm so proud, I didn't tell anyone in my family about buying them
because I wanted to get the genuine reaction from my niece.
So on the day of the show, my niece got up, thinking she was going to school. Her mom drove her to my house, and told her we had a surprise for her. She had absolutely no idea. So we took the train into Boston, got to the TD Garden,
and that's when we told her.
Video:
It was a long day of queuing, but once we got to our spot in the pit, it was nothing but excitement from there on out. (Btw the pit is HUGE and not crowded at all)
P!nk came on at 8:40pm, and she was beautiful! she sparkled more than I have ever seen her sparkle. The opening is such a great way to start the show, the crowd was wild the whole entire night. Then P!nk came down the conveyors for Just Like A Pill, she came up to my niece and pointed to her and said, 'I saw your video' Ahhhh I'll never forget the look on my niece's face. (Thanks P!nk)
The show itself is the best production to date, the colors, the screen visuals, the stunts (Secrets needs to be seen by everyone) The no swearing bugs me but I understand, there are much more kids in the crowd now. She did a really great job remembering the lyrics, she only messed up the words, mud and flood in I Am Here.
The best part of the night was when she saw the gift I had brought her.
I bring a gift every time I see her live, as a thank you for everything she has done for me. I am lucky to have my friend: www.instagram.com/squishy_porkchop/
take my ideas and create them with her amazing talent. The nesting dolls idea was actually our very own, Odai's idea. And I told my friend how I would like them to look (outfits/background)
Here's how she reacted to them:
It is still surreal to me, watching the video, I still can't believe that it is me in it. After giving her a gift, I gave her this photo
and it said, blah blah blah, can I have a hug? But when she came down to me, she said 'kisses' so I went for it. I have always wanted to hug her, and now I finally did. I'm over the moon about the whole thing. After she hugged me, she looked at my niece again and said 'I saw you get tickets on twitter, I saw that happen' P!nk also signed her tour book and Mark Shulman tossed her his drumstick after playing Barbies with it (Which is also my niece's favorite song)
She definitely had an unbelievable first concert experience. I don't know how any other concert will compare for her.
During the finale of Glitter, P!nk grabbed my hand right before leaving the stage. I know I made her happy, and that is the greatest feeling in the world.

Now onto night 2, which was equally amazing. I got to queue in line with Vicki and Kelly (longtime members of shread.net) when we got into the pit, we grabbed our spot and tweeted this to P!nk
. A few minutes later bluedragon23 and pinkashes came right over to us! It was a total shock because Ashley had pit tickets for the opposite side but was sneaky and got herself into the Right Pit, and Valeria met P!nk's manager, Roger Davies, earlier at the hotel and he gave her a free pit ticket (HOW AMAZING) So we had our little shreadnet family together.
P!nk came on and again, was amazing!!!!!!!! It was so special experiencing with true fans, I felt like we were the only ones that knew the words to 'I'm Not Dead' P!nk smiled at us many times, grabbed our hands during Just Like A Pill. Stacy sang to us the entire time during 'I Am Here' and Mark tossed his drumstick to Valeria. The best moment of the night was the finale, right after singing Glitter In The Air, P!nk came over to me, Ashley, Kelly, Vicki and Valeria and gave us a group hug. Then the show was over.
P!nk tweeted to Ashley about how happy she was to see her. So she still remembers shreadnet. The forums may be gone, but she remembers our faces, the dedication for her that we have in our eyes.
Here we are after having such a magical night
I Couldn't have asked for a better 48 hours. The first 24 I got to spend experiencing with my real family, and the 2nd I got to experience with my P!nk family. I feel like the luckiest person in the world. I will never forget the memories we all made. We are bonded for life because of P!nk. I love you guys. I love you P!nk.
