Also, I feel like the Madonna comment was only rooted in her goofy insecurity. Madonna talked about her later on and she said she liked her and she was cool. Anyway, I hope she learns from this and see that the world today is not the same as she grew up in. She does not need unneccessary drama and even though she is willing to die on her mountain, she needs to choose her battles wisely.

This is a whole other can of worms, but I rewatched AIKSF with my girlfriend last week who isn’t a P!nk fan (though she respects her, of course). She didn’t like Carey or find him to be that supportive, especially when the kids were sick or smashing their heads into a wall when she had just finished a show. He did pretty much the bare minimum with very little emotional labour, but the bar is so low that he's praised for it. 👀 I have to agree, honestly. It didn't show her in the most progressive light to keep reinforcing inevitabilities for certain roles. Personally, I’d rather create my own rules, not reduce (or increase) our abilities or expectations to certain titles, but hey. Each to their own. It was a little surprising, though, given what we know of her. We always get only a glimpse of their lives and let's be real we know their marriage mostly through her glasses. But there should be praise, small or big, where it's due. Oh, I do agree. Celebrate the small things; it's important. Never take anything for granted. It just seemed disproportionate, with lots of “I’m a mom, so I must carry the weight of the world on my shoulders”, “he’s a boy, so...”, and "he's the most incredible dad in the world because he is there", kinda vibes. It felt reductive. But you're right, it's a tiny peek through the looking glass. We'll never really know the ins and outs, nor should we.

I imagine there is a lot of work that goes into prep and the day in and day out of a tour. The kids can’t be watching themselves.

i dunno guys, i really don't get this whole "marriage is over" vibe at all... you all are either not in long-term relationships or in an exceptionally great one i think she is just being very very sincere about it, like always. they've been together for 20 years. if she said they are madly in love every day and they have no problems at all, now THAT would be weird... i also don't mind her talking about the children, especially because 90% of the time she is asked about them. i think you are being a bit hard on her with all this digging around in her personal life that she shares with us. In one of the interviews the interviewer even said that she is not giving a list in advance about questions she doesn't want to answer and that it is rare. she can't win because if she shares too much, it's oversharing, if she shares too little, she's not letting us close.

Finally someone said it!
