Ah okay, I like the sound of her performing with a lovely light show plus city views in the back. Kind of sad it's acoustic though, I'd want the songs in their studio version for a release party. When was her last release party? And does she/other artists usually play the entire (or most of) the album they're releasing? |

When was her last release party? And does she/other artists usually play the entire (or most of) the album they're releasing? I think it depends on the runtime of the radio show and what they've prepared. I remember James Vincent McMorrow performing each song of his then new record live during the album launch. During P!nk's album launch in Munich, she didn't perform all songs off of TTAL. Only a handful. I am not sure how it will be here, but I'm guessing she'll have a mix of the typical "greatest hits" with 4-5 new songs. Agreed on the acoustic part. Would have loved if she had her entire band there to perform but I guess it might be difficult logistically. |

I just wanna add that this event is such a great idea, and the scale of it is super exciting.
This is exactly the type of tish she should be doing at this stage in her career. Excellent.

I just re-read the media release and it seems that the iHeartRadio (red graphics) post is about when the interview segment will be later broadcasted on their stations:
"That evening, P!NK will visit the Empire State Building to flip the switch in a special lighting ceremony at the Observatory Experience and join fans for the “iHeartRadio Album Release Party with P!NK,” hosted by on-air personality Elvis Duran. The private fan event will feature an exclusive interview and performance by P!NK in front of a live audience on the building’s 80th floor. ...The exclusive interview will broadcast across Hot AC and CHR iHeartRadio stations on Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. local time and on Today’s Mix at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT."
And then P!nk says in her post above: "We'll be livestreaming the entire thing on my Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube".

Also, I noticed a typo in her two above posts; one image says 4pm ET while the other says 4pm PT? Edit: And one image says 17/02 while the other says 21/02, but the media release says 17/02. WTF? The first one I think they're just gonna stream a lot of the album on 21/02, they're not the same. Although both events have the same sponsor. |
