Meanwhile, Taylor has several albums on the Aria Charts. Why is this happening to Pink? It's this simple: Taylor's audience both stream and buy. P!nk's audience buy but don't stream. The chart's method favors streaming, so Taylor's albums/singles have more longevity on the charts. Taylor also has more payola: Today Top Hits playlist on Spotify, heavy radio add and aggressive marketing campaign. Taylor's fans are also a cult whereas P!nk's fans, though loyal, are not a cult who bought 20 copies of her every album like Taylor's fans do. Look at Taylor's first week sales.

P!nk is also not doing as well as she used to, streams or not. Actual sales hold more value on charts than streaming in Australia…I think the singles charts doesn’t even include streaming, but I’m not 100% sure.
BT also had a concert ticket bundle, if I remember correctly. I think we can collectively agree, her albums just arent doing what they used to.

The most recent Melbourne show to be added is completely seated. I personally think this is to reduce capacity as they're far beyond BT capacity at this point, and the BT tour didn't 100% sell out (it was close though). Some people didn't like this, and disagreed with me on Twitter, but I think it's the most realistic. Townsville, however, did great and sold out super fast.

I saw Townsville sold out, are they going to add another date? Singles and album sales in Australia are very bad. That's what I've noticed since BT. It really is a shame, as Australia and the UK are its biggest markets. This is quite worrying. Hopefully the P10 will be more successful.

I don't understand how hundreds of thousands justify spending hundreds of dollars on concert tickets but not 12 on buying the album? Or even streaming it?

The truth is that she needs at least one more hit close to JGMAR to attract more audiences, but I don't have much hope of that happening. Could she have had a hit with Trustfall if it had been the lead single? Perhaps! Investing in Trustfall would bring more results than NGNDA, I believe. But we'll never know if it would be a big hit.
