Ok I have 2 other ideas for the announcement.
1. The Summer Carnival Tour will be a Greatest Hits Tour Extravaganza as I can’t see it being a tame keeping on the ground tour so this could be the only way it could be different to the possible arena TRUSTFALL tour
2. OR the announcement is to change the name of the tour from Summer Carnival to TRUSTFALL Tour, and the only reason they didn’t name it TRUSTFALL was because it was announced before the new album was revealed. Then that may also help ticket sales in the US with the boost of the new album release then having the related tour.

To be fair she did do two tours for Funhouse.
There was the Funhouse Tour in 2009 then the Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour in 2010.
I know the Carnival one was much smaller with only being Europe. But it could be another tour.

Or she's having a super digital cross sending gig show on these arenas live sent from the stadiums so that more people can experience her live stuff without her actually being there  |

If it's the same tour, why say she has a big announcement? And it's coming same day as album day so.. I still think it's the Trustfall Tour they planned but they decided to keep the 2022 Stadium tour (which was what ACL and Bottlerock were supposed to be apart of). If the Summer Carnival is the same as the Bottlerock and ACL performances I will eat my hat!! There is no way she would do a full on stadium tour and not put on a full show. I find all of this very confusing, but just think the only thing that makes sense is an arena tour added to the end of the stadiums, otherwise how unfair is it for fans that have spent a lot of money on the summer carnival tour assuming it is her next BIG tour, to then have a tour announced that is going to be way better and that the Summer Carnival is the the warm up for?! I think a lot of fans will be thinking the same… I have to see logic, and I don’t see this at all with announcing another tour when the stadiums in the US are not selling out so surely announcing an arena tour will make the stadiums obsolete!? Doesn’t make sense I think we just have to wait and see… Did you not know that the original plan was for them to do stadiums last year? Justin said it in an interview and someone found a bunch of dates for 2022 which included Bottlerock and Ohana. I believe because of covid they decided to delay this tour to this year, but they kept the the shows at Ohana and Bottlerock (not sure if ACL was originally for 2022 or if it was added later). And just because those shows were supposed to be apart of the Summer Carnival Tour doesn’t mean they will keep the same setlist. I hope that doesn’t happen. I don’t think they should have kept the summer carnival tour though, it should have been scrapped because it’s made this all so much more confusing. |

That would be the most shit announcement ever. 1. why would they build it up 2 weeks before just to say 'by the way the name of the tour has changed'? That is just a tweet sort of announcement as it doesnt affect anything. and 2. why would they have even announced the tour before the album and single was even announced. That never made sense to me |
