I miss it. I remember I would check the forums at work at my second job ever. Haha I remember the old layout too before it changed. Oh the good old days. Oh and her letters. 💗 OMG her hand written letters alone!! I remember when she sent us that video at rehearsals for IND! We were sooooooo excited after the TT drought! First time I heard the expression "love you, mean it" hahaha PP led to me having a 30gb P!nk folder on my computer! I need to get my hands on that so I can share all my goodies. Youtube could never compare, I had EVERYTHING  yes!!! I remember that. Hehe And yeah, I had saved a bunch of stuff too, and then my PC crashed. I still have the hard drive in hopes someone can revive it someday. I know that won’t happen, but I just can’t bare to toss it.  I can just imagine all the stuff we’ve probably forgotten about.  Like her performance at the target breast cancer event, for example. I want that dancing with myself performance. |

I saved it there in case something happened to my computer (it did lol). I'll get back to you guys on this matter. I have EVERYTHING up until maybe TTAL. A lot of radio interviews as well. |

Oh I defo think she did back in the day. I used to spend far too much time here hahah. In work especially lol. It was a great place to be thou and so many types of people. Im new to this forum, could you explain the context? Tl;dr version: The original official forum pink.shread.net/forum was established in the early 00s and has been active until mid to late 10s (I think?). One day, the system admin posted that it’s going to be shutting down on a particular date since it’s running on a very old server. Nobody really understood why, what was happening, or why it was unsalvageable in the day of cloud syncs, backups etc etc. I think we never got the answers we were looking for. That’s why this forum emerged. A direct replacement – albeit an unofficial one, you can’t find a link to it on Pinkspage.com – when people started panicking that they are going to lose a huge chunk of not only their fandom but also gigantic part of their lives. As you can imagine, people have developed friendships, relationships and the board served as quite the safe haven for all sorts of queer kids from all walks of life. I know I’m not the only one who felt absolutely gutted when it finally shut down. To this day, I don’t understand how her management could just let it go. The costs had to have been absolutely tiny for her. I am eternally grateful for this „substitute“ even though I don’t spend nearly as much time here as I did back in the day. just reading this made me so agitated and sad and nostalgic for the old days of pp and simultaneously my teenage/young adult years. 🥹 |

I'm a forum OG since 2003. Good times. I, too, am so grateful that this latest forum exists though.
I've always felt that its title lets it down a little, however, though I get that it's a carryover from the old URL.
I don't think most people know what 'shreading' means, and it's not super search-friendly?

I remember posting something on the old forum hoping she'd tweet something for a cause, and she did it within like 2 hours. I feel like it can't be a coincidence. She was like the first celeb to say something about it too.
