im loving it. im not dissing anyone for saying this because everyone is entitled to their own opinions but i kinda feel Pink cant win anymore. everyone moaned NGNDA was the same sound she has done a million times before but then this is a different kind of sound and people dont like it which is again fair enough im not dissing anyone. But it leaves me wondering what does she have to do? she sticks to the same sound people moan, she then changes her sound up and people still moan I’m not sure how anyone can say NGNDA was the same sound she has done a million times?? I think it was a million miles away from her norm and it wasn’t for me because it was too much of a stretch, I still bop to it as it’s catchy. TRUSTFALL however is still different with a techno vibe which I totally understand people not getting it but I just can’t get the chorus and melody out of my head!! I think this one is far better than NGNDA and definitely different but not as far away from her sound as NGNDA. But we all have opinions and if we all liked the same it would be boring! I think P!nk fans have strong opinions and that’s because of P!nk herself and what she represents. As long as there’s no harm or foul I’m good with it. If you like it great, if you don’t, you’re a fan so you’ll love the next one, I’m sure. |

I understand what you’re saying, I’m hoping there may be a bit of risk taking on the album tracks, but I think it’s unlikely that we will get something like that as a single. I’m just in a place were I’m letting myself be pleasantly surprised if we get something like that then there isn’t really any disappointment I totally understand that. And it's a smarter way to approach her new records. I just can't bring myself to expecting literally nothing from her. We've been here for twenty years, we want to see her soar. Don’t get me wrong I don’t expect literally nothing, and obviously I want to see her do well. But I expect less of the gritty songs from say like Try This, which I’d love more of. But unfortunately she can’t make music that just suits my taste, I wish she did though hahahaha. |

But it leaves me wondering what does she have to do? she sticks to the same sound people moan, she then changes her sound up and people still moan I think it's a couple of things: this forum has some old school folks who is missing her more rough, rockier, soulful side which is not present in any of her singles in the past years. It only pops up during extra performances (like Coat Of Many Colours, that tribute performance with Queen etc.) where you usually see those same people raving about it for pages. Those people - and I include myself in that category too - will probably be happily listen to the First Aid Kit and The Lumineers songs from the album, but those songs won't have the same amount of buzz around them as the singles. I am a huge advocate of I Am Here and how it was blasphemously skipped as a single while it could have been one of her biggest songs in the past years, it charted high after the tour gigs, it had catchiness, but still that soulful, unpolished core in a mature format, yet stayed as an album track only. All I Know So Far was percieved highly well in this community too, for example. There is place for all kinds of opinions and to have them shared here respectfully. This sums it up perfectly for me, too, and is a reason that I’ll always support her and see her live, as that’s where she truly shines to my taste. It's funny, as I have a super eclectic taste in music. I love pop, dance/electronic, all sorts, but for P!nk, the magic doesn't connect in everything. I get that fix from other people. I love her most when she's in a more raw form. Either rockier, soulful, or acoustic. I don't know why that is, but it's okay. She can't please all the people all the time, and she shouldn't try to. It’d be awfully dull. |

Okay I have heard the song and I love it. I think it’s really good - a lot better than NGNDA and Irrelevant, in my opinion. I understand people missing the OG sound, I’m hoping for a rock song/ soft rock song on the album. You didn’t like Irrelevant but you want a rock song? Honestly Irrelevant is a GREAT pop rock song imo. |

I love when P!nk does all different styles. I don’t care what genre as long as it’s good and feels authentic. NGNDA was a nice attempt, but it came out cheesy, and almost cringy. This though, doesn’t have that cheesiness to it which I appreciate 10 fold.
I enjoyed Irrelevant but her vocals were way too grating. As for Cover Me In Sunshine, I enjoyed it, but I didn’t love Willows vocals on it. Sweet gesture though.
All I Know So Far sounded meh, and demo-like. Damn garage band. The vocals were grating too. But this new song’s vocals reminds of P!nk that we know and love.

Only heard the long snippet, but damn damn damn I love the sound of this!
And initial reaction to it seems really good too, so let's hope this can actually become the proper hit that she deserves.
And damn that video trailer is so freaking cool!
