6,5 - 7/10 for me.
Not her best work, but it has its moments.
I don't mind too many ballads too, but they lack melodies and a bit distinctive sound. Unfortunately, you can tell how a slow song by her will sound like without even listening to it.
Highlights of the album: Trustfall, Turbulence, Runaway, Feel Something, Our Song, NGNDA(on a good day)

It's about a 5 or 6 for me. Like someone else said I got bored of it. There's to replayable factor for me. I don't mind ballards but the ones on this album don't punch like her others and the upbeat songs are so generic it hurts. Funnily enough I've gone back to never gonna never dance ever never again and loving it. That and Trustfall are bops with last call being a distant 3rd fav. Never not gonna dance again was my favorite after the first few listens at the album 😂 I still LOVE it, even if I’ve other favorites now.

After having the album a month now I give it a good 6.5/7 stars out of 10. It is a good album but imo it's not her best or most memorable work. Faves: Trustfall, Long Way To Go, Feel Something, When I Get There, Just Say I'm Sorry, Turbulence, Last Call, Hate Me, Lost Cause Least Faves: Runaway, Never Gonna Not Dance Again, Kids in Love I love how you can sort of hear her rasp again on Last Call!!! 💜💜💜 i just wish she'd do more upbeat songs, shes doing too many ballads now And I wish she’d do more ballads cause they bring out the fire in her voice 🔥🔥🔥

Feel Something is becoming one of the faves on the album. So relatable to me.

I love Last Call so much as well. It makes me smile and tear up at the same time. It could also fit as a song in Last of Us lyrically. Last Call and Trustfall are the songs I can have on repeat. The rest of them I either just like or don't. So unfortunately there aren't many songs that stood out for me in this album And I'm still mad that Trustfall wasn't the first single. I don't think she should make any more songs with Max Martin or Greg Kurstin. It doesn't look like they can make the songs they once made anymore. I hope she goes ahead and makes that rock opera album that she said she would like to make.

But shes more well known now than she was when she released TT, but maybe shes worried

Love it <3 And she has inflections of rasp again on Last Call, so that would be incredible to get that back. I am not a fan of Last Call tbh, but was happy to hear touches of that rasp again.

Hey, y’all Not to make this about me, I’ve been in a dark place lately, as I mentioned before, but I feel like I’m coming out of it. That being said, I was hoping to god that the new album would be a saving grace; unfortunately, it was not. It just doesn’t have that spark that I love about her and her albums. Moreover, it just lacks in a lot of ways. I was hoping we’d have something more in line with TTAL, not a further step down from H2BH. I honestly could do without these last two albums, to be honest. That’s no insult to P!nk, I dunno, it feels like she’s doing it for the sake of doing it, unlike a burning passion like her previous albums, up to BT. She’s a mom now, a wine maker, etc, so I get it. But I can feel it in her work. Like her writing credits on here being so minimal that it’s almost an example of how happy she is in her life that writing probably isn’t needed, so she needed the help of others, which is fine, but damn, this album is being sold as one of her best pieces of work, and I just don’t agree. I’m waiting for “that album”. Miss is the closest thing to that imo. My take away tracks, that I play currently Runaway Hate Me Last Call Trustfall Feel Something Where I Get There Lost Cause hits me too hard personally, that I can’t bare to listen to it. So she killed it, obviously. Turbulence irks me, I dunno why. I feel disconnected when I hear Long Way To Go, Kids In Love feels like her on a feature, which doesn’t help right after LWTG. NGNDA - won’t even talk about it. And it just falls flat for me after Feel Something. Honestly, it ranks at the bottom of her albums, sorry to say as a huge fan. Im also feeling the same about City and Colour and he’s my favourite male artist. Im just not excited by their work as of late. I am however excited to see what’s in store for the tour.

Babe, I'm sorry to hear you're not well these days. I hope whatever is bringing you down will be resolved quickly and your days can brighten up again <3 *hugs* Regarding the new album: I have to agree with you. I honestly don't think I would've listened to it much at all if it wasn't for P!nk. I feel a little distant from it, if that makes sense. There are some nice moments here and there, but it's really not my favorite album of hers or altogether. Solid, yes. But she's had more solid, more powerful works IMO M!ssundaztood still needs to be topped. That album is a blast in so many ways from start to finish. --- --- --- --- --- I think it was Döme who said that her albums always come in trilogies. If I had to choose a winner from each trilogy, it would look like this: CTMH M!ss ✓ TT IND FH ✓ TTAL BT ✓ H2BH TF We could trickle down from there, but maybe that's an idea for a separate thread?

I hope life treats you better from now on. A P!nk album can be a saving grace but this one was not, and I know how badly you need it sometimes. I am so glad you are getting out of it, keep going and it will be alright. 🤍

Yes, we talked about this. Although the trilogies can be shifted around, I feel like M/TT/IND is one and BT/H2BH/TF is another. BT was really a starting point for a matured style and lyricism of the next two, but her previous work still had strong presence there. It felt like a really good mature wine with the purified essence of her. On the contrary, H2BH was a not-so-balanced cuveé made from leftover grapes and TF feels like a wine where the purification and processes were so well-developed that it has lost its body and essence.

I still wonder what H2BH would have been like if it was only an EP like she originally had planned. I am sure it would have been a much stronger album. I love the songs that stand out to me on it a lot, but the ones I don't like I really don't like which just brings the album down as a full body of work. I skip through it way too much. Hey Why is an era-spanning highlight though! Love it! Though, if she decides to put out "rest" songs from previous sessions on future albums, I hope she'll go as far back as M!ss and TT days <3
