Somehow NGNDA isn't in my album even though I bought it when it came out. I listened to the whole album in order and didn't even realize it was missing until I was reading through here. LOL. I think When I Get There is my favorite simply because it made me bawl my eyes out the first time I heard it. I feel like I want Hate Me to be a little more rock. idk why but it makes me think of Centerfold or maybe another song from that era. I do really love the vocals on this album. I'm not a huge fan of the electronic sound because songs usually end up sounding the same to me, but I don't get that from this album. I love the Loser notes in Lost Cause. I'm not fully in love with it yet, but I could see myself falling hard. Hate Me gives me the same vibes as King Is Dead But The Queen is Alive. Only bad thing about the song is that there’s no real bridge |

Sorry but it's like a C+ for me! Runaway again in the title name, really? Love the 80's vibe to it but it coulda been titled something different. Very disappointed this doesn't contain more up tempo songs. This seems to cater to a more folk/rock/country audience! Some tracks feel like filler tracks or B-sides better suited to that our bonus tracks.Love Love her voice but not in love with this album!I just wish this album was as diverse as her previous ones!I know I'm in the minority but H2BH was 10X better!

I wish Turbulence went somewhere. The way it starts with the guitar (?) it feels like it’ll go somewhere. But it doesn’t and that’s a shame. Still a good song

After a first listen, not that many songs stand out to me.
Trustfall is an amazing song, really love that one!
My other faves are, Turbulence and Feel Something. Runaway is also pretty cool. NGNDA is catchy and fun and When I Get There is also a good song.
The featuring songs didn’t stick at all unfortunately.
But I must say.. since she hyped it so much and talked about it being her best since Missundazstood, I was expecting more.. I think the lyrics are somewhat repetitive, just a bit too easy at times. I don’t know, as someone mentioned H2BH has more songs that I really like. But maybe Trustfall will grow on me… but for now, too many songs that just didn’t stand out or do anything for me really…

After a quick first listen out of curiosity, I happen to like it. Honestly, I don’t love it, just yet. I feel like it needs to grow a little bit on me. There are great songs on it, the lyrics are very pure too. I bought the album (of course I did) because I will support her anytime I can. I just hope I’ll be playing the album often, soon. For now it’s just, out there and I’m happy for her and I wish it’ll have great success.

I actually liked a few tracks right away, especially the one with the Lumineers. NGL though I thought the bridge was gonna be more epic!

So far it's just a meh album for me. I love Trustfall, When I Get There, Turbulence, Hate Me, Last Call and Runaway. It just feels so all over the place. I don't understand why she's saying she's getting the same feeling from when she released Missundaztood, I'm Not Dead or Truth About Love. It sounds fillerish and B-sideish. Maybe it will grow on me. I wish she'd settle down with one producer and drop a cohesive album with a different sound. I also feel detached from this album because she didn't write half of it. That in part I think is why I'm like how is she so attached to this album when she only wrote 6 songs? The collabs on this one are so forgettable to me as well. I had high expectations for political songs, pandemic songs, songs of loss from her fathers death and we got target walmart adds and more folky pop jams that died in 2012. I'm hoping it will grow on me but god the ballads she's put on the past three albums are so... goopy. I'm happy to be getting a new album really I am, I'm happy she's happy. I'm just hoping that album 10 is a shift for her because if she drops another Beautiful Hurts to be Trustfall it will be mind numbing. I will also be changing the title of "Runaway" to "Born To Run" because ma'am, there can only be one Runaway. Anyways, that's my two cents lol.

I enjoy Runaway, Trustfall, and When I Get There.
Fuck. And I bought 4 copies. I should waited to listen before buy a second physical album.

I read so many of these reviews and was nervous about this track, but I kinda love it and her voice in it. I also dig the First Aid Kit track. I guess the world would be a boring ass place if we all liked the same thing. I actually think Last Call and Lost Cause are my least faves on initial runs |

Like I only kept Runaway, Trustfall, and When I Get There. This album had no reply value.
And I usually spin the crap out of her albums.
