i know what you mean. tbh the 3 month wait has been absolutely ridiculas and annoying and ill be disappointed if after all that wait i wont love it as much as i want to by the way can i ask, im in the UK. will that mean ill have to wait til 5am? wondering this tonight as shania twain new album comes out tonight No it’s midnight in whichever country you are in. So we get it before US but Australia gets it first! Thank you  |

Wow. If this is true, then I am kind of shocked that she says it's her best, but she did not write the majority.
I am super happy that we have one Billy Mann song and it will be great as usual, and I am also quite sure that Long Way To Go and Kid In Love will be the featured bands' style rather than hers which is GREAT!!!!
The rest are seem to be producers for Avril Lavigne, Sia, Kelly Clarkson and One Direction, which is kind of scary.

So that kind of explains Runaway. Maybe that song is also already recorded by someone else? Either way they could have renamed it i guess?
I am also shocked she says it’s her best when she didn’t write half of it 😱

Yeah I’m shocked as well, but genius lyrics has released all this info and we can only assume it’s correct. It’s an interesting choice considering she’s always been classed as a singer/songwriter and yet only 6 of these are written by her. But maybe it just shows that P!nk will always pick the best songs for her album whether they are written by her or not? I just think back to TTAL when it was released and her saying my Mums favourite was Try the only one I didn’t write. Maybe now she’s not so keen on writing or doesn’t feel she has the time I don’t know. But I’m kind of hopeful, I don’t mind her not writing them, I was just expecting a lot of feels from her about her experiences over the last few years but I guess we’ll get that in a few of them and the rest are through other peoples minds but that she relates to??

Someone who’s been giving more or less reliable information also said she wrote less than half of the songs on Trustfall. Is this even a P!nk album? Less credits than on CTMH. I personally want to hear what she has to say, and while I know she must be behind any song she puts out, the fact that it’s not coming from her is a little disappointing. Oh well, hopefully her voice will shine.

On one hand, when she picks songs which she wishes she recorded them (Stay With Me, River, Try) they end up being amazing songs. So I am actually intrigued. On the other hand, I wonder if she lost some of her lyrical ability. She is known and praised for her quick lyric-writing capability, but she might feel not so creative lately? I feel like some people can bring out amazing lyrical content from her (Dallas, Billy, Jack Antonoff) and I kind of wish we would hear her own thoughts and feelings. This will be super weird at first. |

So she has obviously chosen the best songs she has recorded regardless on whether she wrote them or not. I think it’s caught us all off guard especially as the first two released both are co-written by her. I agree that I prefer to hear what she has to say, but also Try is still in my top 3 songs of hers so I’m not turned off on the idea completely. |
