I didn't think that that would ever be a sentence I would say.
Just one.
Thats all I can make work for this ATM....
**I'll still add some last min shows probably (if I can find anything less than face value) but it isn't gonna be the same. I'll just hang somewhere in the back**

And then my husband thinks I paid much for Golden Circle...about 160 euros for one ticket...and it's a festival which I don't like to go see her.
But those prices in US 🙄 Why? Do we think she knows?

I wasn't going to get tickets, but when she announced a new album I decided to look and oops I bought some. Not on the floor, but basically the closest section off of the floor. I figure it's pretty easy to resell tickets on TM if I decide not to go or if my friend decides not to go.

The only solution is to make tickets personal like flight tickets. But then Ticketmaster and everyone else in the business know that they will lose gazillion money by doing that, so they rather not. And as long as people ARE FRIGGIN BUYING from scalpers it will just keep escalating.

As far as I know, Ed Sheeran opted out of dynamic pricing with Ticketmaster and made it impossible to sell tickets above face value, so getting tickets and avoiding its mess was relatively smooth.
I do believe that it comes down to the artist AND management. I also believe that even though P!nk might be aware, I do not think she cares about the logistics and issues. She barely knows how many shows she's doing, where she's going a week later, it's all taken care of by Roger and it's fine with her. I wish I could say she stands up - in the past it was like that - but that is not true anymore. It was the same with the VIPs, presale codes, the old forum or this Ticketmaster fiasco. Even though it might be a bit sad, we should not expect her to step up because that's not her reality anymore.

Agreed it comes down to the artist. For this tour, I don't think the scalpers are the issue. Loads of original tickets still available on ticketmaster which makes me think we may be able to get tickets for cheaper than face value closer to showtime.
Also agree with the Ed Sheeran comment. I went to a Springsteen concert once (he got greedy and doesn't do it anymore) where they scanned your credit card you bought the ticket with and they escort you and your party into the arena so it makes it much harder to scalp tickets. But now artist get a cut of the re-sale now so they are happy to fleece their fans for the $.
