I was actually just having this discussion with Jeff. It seems odd to me that she would do a single summer festival date. A lot of rehearsals, preparation, etc. for a single show doesn't make any sense and it's out of the ordinary for P!nk. I agree with the Beautiful Trauma timeline theory. Some summer 2022 gigs, leading into a July/August single and a new album by Q4 this year is very plausible. Regarding touring and cancellations, I think the world is now understanding that we just have to deal with COVID and to just try our best without going insane. I really think things will open up soon in the way that travel won't be as restricted, isolation won't be required, proof of negative tests and/or vaccination will be obsolete within a year. With the high infection rate at the moment, booster drives, oral medication about to be released and an omicron-specific vaccine coming in April, there should be enough immunity to lower the severity of the virus and there won't be much else to do than just get on with it. I think it would be a safe bet to assume that if an album is to be released towards the end of this year, a new tour should kick off by early 2023. I think like that too. She won't spend time and energy just for one show. I even thought she would be at Coachella this year, but since it's in April, maybe I didn't have time. She should do the same pre-tour before the release of BT, and in 2023 come out with the new album tour. I also think that in July/August we already have the announcement of the first single and the album that should be released in October. |

I really hope you guys are right… but my gut tells me no.. 😩 But then why would she be doing a festival if she didnt have new music coming out? doesnt make sense like hookedonspice said Also didnt she say she wouldnt go 5 years without a new album again? if she still sticks to that, H2BH will be 3 years old in April which means new album this year or next year. Also, p!nk always works on albums quietly and isnt one to say Im working on a new album , until its ready. Remember in 2016, she kept being asked about a new album and annoyingly she kept saying 'after the bake sale' and we were like WTF does that mean? Now we obviously know she was pregnant , but we also know now that she was recording BT at the time, so obviously she just wanted to keep it quiet til nearer the time and obviously she had to give birth first lol But like i and hookedonspice said, doing one festival date for no reason just doesnt make sense |

Its going to be 3 years in April since H2BH which is the normal sort of timescale bìg artists like pink take unless you're Àdele and take bloody 5 or 6 years between albums, I know she said H2BH was originally going to be a EP which woùldve made sense as it was only a yeaŕ and a half after BT and she was on tour. But its 3 years since H2BH in April. And I think if we are getting a new record by her this year, I dont think it'll be until the second half of 2022, September/October time so by then H2BH will be just about 3 and 1/2 years old. So I dont really see why she would release a EP when she is due an album in the next couple of years anyway (by that I dont mean she owes us an album, I mean the record label probably starts talking to her about a new record release after 3 years) |
