This whole thing would be better if she released it on DVD with the live CD. You know, like the Tour Version of Funhouse. But ok, documentary is only on Amazon Prime and she probably got a lot of $$$ for it.
With this CD I have mixed feelings. Why "compilation" of live tracks, when they could have released 2CD with the entire BTW Tour audio from GTPS to So What - all the tracks. If this is basically "let's release something alongside the documentary" why the random mixes of live tracks going years back, covers, and then new track and Cover Me in Sunshine in a middle of live album? It's just so... random.

By streaming it first, millions of people will get to watch it and be interested in seeing her next time she tours. These types of things are about cementing a legacy and are more for the wider fanbase than the stans. Perhaps the first incarnation of the BT Tour that was filmed in NZ (or was it Oz again, can't remember) will show up on dvd at a later date. The album tracklist is most likely the songs that are featured in the movie and I'd assume it fits on 1 disc so manufacturing costs are kept low. Live albums don't sell that well. I look at this project as a stop-gap. Enough new bits for fans to hang onto, but mainly to prevent her from slipping completely from the general public's radar until the next full album cycle.

Oh I understand completely, was saying these things on the previous page myself. It makes sense, but also let's be honest, she made more money by giving it to Amazon than releasing DVD just to her hardcore fanbase. But I disagree with the CD. I don't think many people will on Spotify listen to her live versions - yeah they'll listen to the new single and hopefully it will be playlisted, but I don't think anyone outside stan will listen to the live version more than twice. That is why they could have released all of it now, and manufacturing price of CDs is extremely low, so it would probably make an extremely small difference that they could afford easily. It seems it will be only a limited run of physical copies anyways and possibly only through her website, so only for hardcore fans... Let's hope P!nk is feeling inspired during the pandemic and is writing new music.

I pre-ordered the photobook thingy. I can't wait! I did too! What did we order? I’m reading it’s an audio CD and not a DVD? What?

It’s such BS to “pre order” something and only way to get in on release date is to pay 65 USD. Now I’m happy if I get it three weeks after release date, and I paid for that too. Sorry to be negative but I’m not really. I’m just making a good point.

And the cover
Did she make it herself? Haha. I’m not rude but it looks very homemade 😬
