OK. This might be a wild rumour, but this Twitter Page is hinting at upcoming P!nk residency in Las Vegas. "Raise your glass. Closing in on the announcement of a Las Vegas residency for Pink." Two months ago they had a Zedd rumour for Las Vegas and it turned out to be true. Not sure if this is real, wishful thinking, or just plain and simple "prank." But what would you think of P!nk's Vegas residency? If it's for a month, ok, but I do think P!nk belongs on stadiums and into arenas around the world which I think many people will agree?

Definitely a no at this point. Perhaps 10 years later, maybe.

I think with all the restrictions now and P!nk being someone who makes music in order to perform them on stage, this might be a good solution and an alternative for the time being. Maybe even for the next couple years until touring won’t be much of a challenge globally and also when her kids are a bit older.
She has a big enough catalogue of songs so she doesn’t really have to put out new music either and can do the same, for example, So What show stopper she did for the last 10+ years and invite special performer guests now and then. It seems like she could make a quick buck from it and stay “tour fit“ in the meantime. For her this might be really good.
Personally, I am more of an album guy so whenever there will be a new album, I just hope it will be good. 👍

urgh this would be my worst nightmare tbh. im a massive Britney fan and things got so boring when she went to vegas in 2013. practically no promo for her albums. and i have cerebral palsy so travelling to vegas just for one gig is not worth the hassle. i hadnt seen her live before because every single tour apart from one she missed scotland out and her being in vegas just completely ruled out my chances. fortunately she toured the UK in 2018, came to scotland and i finally saw her live. i mean, with pink, its a bit different because ive luckily saw her live 5 times now , most recently in 2019 on her last tour. But ill still be gutted if she went to Vegas because going there is hard for me with my disability. i suppose if it meant we got a 9th and/or 10th album quicker because she wouldnt have to tour, i suppose thats something. But ill be devastated
The bad thing is though i can see it happening. Jameson will be starting school this year or next year, Willow will be starting high school or whatever the US name for it is, shes 12 in 2023 so is it high school/senior school then? i dunno im in the UK, and here at 11 or 12 they go from primary to secondary. and i know with Britney she went to Vegas around the time her sons were school starting ages and she said the biggest reason she decided to go to vegas was so tha t she was in one place for her sons. and i know pink said that she found her tour in 2018-2019 really difficult because of the kids and Willow was fed up and wanting to go home by the end of it. So i actually think it will happen sadly. i actually dont blame her and completely understand. but it just means i wont be able to see her again for a few years at least

Britney and Pink are two different scenarios. One is in control. The other is not.
She can do a residency and still tour. There is flexibility.

But keep in mind JLo. Xtina. And Mariah all have young kids. And they’ve done both.

So many mixed feelings..... Like every possible one. All over, Ups and down.
But I’m happy for her. She deserves it.

Well, right now touring is not possible at all and we all know how much she loves the stage. I can imagine her doing some shows up until things settle around the world.

Wasn't this already a rumour right after tour?
Just doesn't feel like she's a person who would arrange something like this during covid

It's been rumoured since the last tour that she had a Vegas residency earmarked. It makes sense for any of the pop ladies who have young children and need a stable routine for a few years. The other thing to factor in is how long she can keep up these challenging circque du soleil type aerial shows. She ain't gonna be doing backflips on the ropes in 10 years. Even the most elite performing dancers and acrobats have to call it a day in their 40s. Point is, she may fancy the idea of going all-out by doing a full-on acrobat show but without the stress of touring and checking rigging safety on a new stage every day. Plus it's an excuse to mark 20+ years and do another compilation.
Katy Perry is also being rumoured to start a Vegas residency on NYE.

Wasn't this already a rumour right after tour? Just doesn't feel like she's a person who would arrange something like this during covid yeh tbh my only doubt was/is it sounds too soon anyway. Her last tour only finished a year and a half ago which isnt really that long ago. i thought she would wanna take at least 2 or 3 whole years off to be a full time mum. Unless like grenno said, its just to keep her fit enough to tour/perform a 2 hour show until she releases another album and tours with that. i mean, i dont think we'll get another album until 2023 which sucks, and that means no tour til end of 2023 or 2024. so maybe its just to keep her fit until then and she still gets time with her kids. i remember Britney saying she only did a show 3 nights a week which meant she got 4 days off to be with her boys without any travelling to do. i can understand why she'd wanna do vegas. its just crap for fans like me who cant get to Vegas

You all make good points. It's true that with two small kids, being in one place, them being able to attend pre-school/school makes sense. I just hope if she does this (if she has to and wants to - as I'm not a fan of that idea), then I hope it'll be for like a year max. I mean, Vegas residency has done no favours to anyone really... except the income.

I have mixed feelings about this, dont know what it would do to her career but i am 100% sure that the show would be absolutely amazing. The perk of not having to travel between shows and set up new stages every day and stuff like that. But i personally would feel extremely sorry for myself because it would most likely mean i cannot see a new show live which would be the first time in 15 years.
