It’s such an understated song. I was expecting them to belt it out back and forth (kinda like her and Nate on JGMAR), especially after like the 2:45 min mark when the song builds up for a moment and becomes very James Vincent McMorrow Post Tropical-esque with the chorals. But it doesn’t go there and it obviously doesn’t want to—and that’s beautiful too.
I like it and it gets better with every listen.
Also adore the video! The whole theater mixed with forestry elements is such a nice atmospheric touch.
