Pence becomes president.
And then Pence would give Trump a pardon.
I don’t think that’s likely.
Trump is too stubborn to resign.
And Trump and Pence aren’t really on the best of terms at the moment, so I don’t see him giving him a pardon if that were to happen.

His narcissistic personality disorder prevents that from happening, because in order to resign he'd have to admit failure. He just can't do that. Besides even a pardon from Pence wouldn't help him regarding e.g. the SDNY investigation. |
