Also, it's not under control anyway in America, or is it?

no one can really say now which choice is going to be the right one. no easy answers..... my vote is on the stay in until this is under control... but its a complex situation... if there was an EASY fix it'd be done. unfortunately the economy will hurt no matter what and people will die no matter what. I personally feel like its more under control by trying to slow the spread. 😔

Also, it's not under control anyway in America, or is it? not at all.... but. this slow down process wasn't supposed to fix it in a week, or two, or even a month.... experts are saying multiple months+ to get a better grasp on things and that's fine with me I think alternate ways can be worked on to help the economy while there's this global health crisis. its a complex problem that while require a complex solution

Also, it's not under control anyway in America, or is it? Well, Democratic governors try to get it under control, Republican governors say fuck it, let people die. 🤷♂️ And Trump is a fucking moron.

And the rich people that are millionares say fuck it, close everything down until it's over. Which is the most stupid thing to do.

Is it that simple though? I doubt. You never know what “economy hurt” will do. If it will kill more people. But if everyone would stay in these two week before it opens, shit would be gone. But people don’t give a fuck. And most of them, at least here, are old people, in risk groups. This is what I think. Sweden has a different strategy than the rest of the world, isn't it? Here, workers are at home, kids are at home (and no, school from home doesn't work for everybody), a lot of elderly people are still going out😠, our economy is crashing, we are all scared, and alone. And the impacts will last several years. And a lot of people will die from this virus anyway. Since a lot of person won't be exposed to the virus, because they are in quarantine (I mean young and healthy people), they won't be immunized in case of a 2nd wave of this pandemic. It fears a lot of scientists here. I don't know what is the good strategy. And I know that the way I think sounds a bit like Trump 🤢. But I have 4 kids and I can see the devastating effects the situation has on them. And I'm afraid of that too. People cry, not because of the coronavirus, but because they can't pay the bills. Alcohol and cannabis sales increased a lot (they are considered as essential services here) Women's shelters are almost empty even if they are still open☹️. Our department of youth protection told that the number of calls for child abuse has decreased during the last weeks.☹️ Can you imagine those kids who have to live with their abuser 24/7. The impacts of our strategy are big on our society. After all that, we will need to take care of our financial health, but also our mental health.

I just really wish this would have been taken seriously in the US at the initial first cases.... US is going to be a hard one to dig our way our of

I was worrying about this and thinking about a solution that Trump is trying, before he even spoke about it so I won't say I sound like him but I don't think he's completely insane with this like I'd normally think he is with everything else. Sweden is doing it midway, like everything, and always. Trying to balance it on both sides, not letting any side dominate the other.

US is going to be a hard one to dig our way our of It's just started and the numbers will grow, but the pace is low, which is good. There's no way to avoid this and we shouldn't count on it being gone in x amount of time, because it won't, but taking control and trying to slow down the pace and try to lower it as much as possible.

So in a week that happened. Imagine in a few more weeks. And take 26% of that already have mental health problems, and like already mentioned kids and women/men that will be in physical pain during this time too. Not good.
