I think it's for the better if she takes some time off. She's been working non stop lately and this tour was massive with 2 albums. She needs some quality time with family and wine.
And she can come out with You+Me 2.0 in the meantime and I'm all fine.

I hope she does what her heart feels like doing and that she doesn’t listen too much on other ppls opinions. I’m sure the label wants her to continue working while she’s on top of it all now.
Anyway I’d want some kind of sum up of these 20 years of her career. Like a story telling thing, all the struggles as kid, how she got into music, her story omg I just realized what if that’s what the Netflix thing is gonna be about? The road to Wembley , could it be from beginning to top and we get all of it 😱 😭YES PLS I WANT

^ Yeah, that's what I said a while ago whenever the question for a "Greatest Hits" came up. I'd rather have another TV special of her life in the vein of MTV Diary/Behind the Music and all that, with something where she goes back to reminiscing/explaining/etc. all albums so far instead of a compilation CD (and hopefully more indepth than just "I had cotton-candy-pink hair here" lol)
If RCA desperately wants to release a CD, I'd rather have an unplugged version of her greatest hits or an album of previously unreleased songs that "almost" made the cut from her previous album sessions (or a mix of that). (Edit: with a few covers... maybe the Janis tribute in great record booth quality?)
Also... doesn't 25th anniversary sound better than 20th? Idk... has a better ring to it IMO.
Anyway, bring on You+Me 2!! That's what I am really excited for!

ahhh, I just read it and I'm almost crying but don't have the energy to cry. But yeah, feeling so maany emotions!! One thought after finishing the read was "omg, no , this can't be it" but I don't think she's going anywhere anytime soon. A vegas residency would make sense but the crowds would be way different and I'm sure she would miss seeing all the diversity in the audiences that she gets to see while traveling the world. And like she said, she loves traveling. But I get that her kids are her priority now and it changes things. I just hope that she will keep touring even though they might be shorter tours <3

Lol I could only sneak in watching the video so far. Hmmm cute and all but they show her M!ss and all she talks about is how nice her hair looked 😢 it’s my favorite album so I hoped she’d talk about the album for at least a sentence... Oh well. Maybe the article has more! Excited to read it! And she looks great in those photos!! Wow! i think they caught her by surprise a bit, she seems like she’s embarrassed and struggling to have an appropriate reaction to Stupid Girls. Yeah well that didnt age well. |
