I don't want to be the first but I feel like the idea is great but the execution could have been much better (same with 90 Days). Not feeling the 2000s throwback vibe either.
I loved the initial idea of people struggling in every part of their human interactions, I wish we could have seen more of that. More storyline, more layers, more relatable moments. I really liked when they crossed their path in the corridor then the camera zooms out of the building. Nice touch.
With another direction in post-editing and better storyline it could have been great but right now it's just ok for me. She used to be brilliant with her music videos but lately I don't think she puts so much effort in them.

Hmm... deserved a better video IMO. The pull out at the end to show the entire building was the only good thing. Everything else seemed like a wasted opportunity on the director/editor's part. Reading the idea and casting call sheet made it seem like we'd get to see really heartwrenching stories through each window in Alfred Hitchcock Rear Window style. This was kinda boring and not well executed at all, I'm sad to say.
I hope it does well though. But it's not gonna be among my favorite videos of hers.

I agree with pretty much evertyhing Döme said ^ It was my exact thought when I was watching it, that it feels like they're not putting as much effort into her music videos anymore. They used to be so great. Here, she looks amazing, I love the song and I get the idea behind the video. But the concept has been done many times before and it feels a bit cliché to me.. like, people can be close to each other but still feel alone. We are important to each other. Yes. But I'm left missing something more, more story telling and something more raw and deep. Preferably maybe a totally different concept because the zooming in and out of the rooms has been done so many times before, or that's how it feels when I watch it.
That said, always great getting a music video and I hope it does its job getting the song heard by as many as possible  |

I was first in this thread this morning and honestly didn’t wanna post anything just because it would feel negative. But for me it’s OK. It’s nothing new or special. I like the message and that we all have things we struggle with behind closed doors and that social media/phone/digital life isn’t all there is. And I think she’s hot, but when is she not? That’s about it. I donno how else I’d want it but it doesn’t do much for me as I feel now.

It's nothing special, not something I would want to see again unfortunately.  And why isn't she promoting it anywhere? Looks like she doesn't care. I hoped this could be a bigger hit, but I'm not sure anymore. |

I cannot help but think she was sick when they filmed it. I think I’m the only one that didn’t read that  I think it’s also cause I’d make a whole different video in my mind and it wouldn’t meet the expectations I’d have. I just watched it again for a second time, at a break here, and I like it better now. There’s small details here and there that hooks up to the song title which I like. But overall, I donno, I think I’m missing more of her passion in it! |

Yeh I'm a little underwhelmed. I was hoping for something more, I'm not sure exactly what. It felt a little one dimensional to me. The diversity was great, the different relationships portrayed etc but I just wasn't getting much feeling or connection for any of the 'stories' and so by the end, even though I loved the pullaway shot from the building, I just felt a bit 'meh' 🤷♀️
I get the concept and overall I like the idea but there was definitely room for more potential. Still don't get me wrong, it was a lovely post to see on my timeline today and she's looking hella fine as usual 👌 I'll be rewatching a few times to see if anything does end up standing out for me
