This crossed my mind too. But i think it has to be a coincidence on this ocassion. The money is for charity. No one should be upset by that. We didn't want to promote the deed, we wanted to let her know we did it in her honor and for her birthday. I don't think Reina meant us by that, and if she did, it's not valid.  I always looked at Reina like a positive loving person and I don’t think she mean it to us either. But I am of course curious to know what it is that made her say that if it was towards us. Indirectly what we did was spreading awareness of Unicef, we made other people join by sharing, over 200 people people gathered and donated and celebrated her birthday. If anything we posted about doing this all together all of us, not like one person donated a gazillion money and bragged about it or just wanted attention and that’s why they did it. And if Reina sees it like that then it’s really a shame. Had this not happened Unicef wouldn’t received an extra 50k from these people to help kids in need. It also proved us that we can do things like this together across the globe. Announcing the winners I’ll also add info about further supporting Unicef monthly. I mean, I donno. If someone can find something that bugs them with any of this then I’m kinda sorry for them as a person. |

Did ya'll see thissssss? <3<3<3 I was sure she was gonna like one of the gazillion posts we spammed her with  but then she replied on insta and then replied again on Twitter with these cute messages <3 Also, I wanna ask you guys for ideas. Unicef Sweden always send stats of the money they got from monthly subscribers at the end of every year (https://unicef.se/effekt). Like sum of the year they got xxx and x will go to x amount of vaccines, x goes to x amount of books and pens and x goes to nutrition, etc. and they also always present what they've done that previous year and how many children feel better with their help. I kinda want to make a post about the amount we made and how much of xx and xx and xx it is, because I think people would be more open for monthly subscriptions if they "see" something concrete and how it does make a difference, but the US site is kinda crap compared to the Swedish one so I have no clue and I can't say shit about any numbers so that idea isn't possible unfortunately  Does anyone have any other idea what I can post? Just post the message from P!nk and say thanks for coming together for a good cause and if they want to continue helping children in need go here xx. And present the winners. Did I forget anything? |

This is what it says on the swedish site if you wanna make a donation "Kostnadsexempel: 400 kronor räcker till 43 påsar högenergimjölk som kan rädda barn som lider av undernäring. 600 kronor räcker till 161 doser mässlingsvaccin som skyddar barn från att smittas av den farliga sjukdomen" Like it will literally say 40 euros is 43 nutrition bags that can save kids that suffer from malnutrition. 60 euros is 161 vaccines that can save children from dangerous diseases". If anyone can find anything similar on the us site please let me know since I might be lost on there looking at the wrong pages |

Waaaw, more than 50.000 now! It's crazy. What was the amount you had in mind, Dani? Honestly. I had no idea it would spin away like this at all. I see birthday donations on FB daily (it's been hip here since last year) and sometimes it's 100 euros sometimes 10 euros. I was happy with anything. Ask Susi what I said after the first hour "FAIL". But then I donno what happened and we were over 2K SEK and I got a bit pumped to go in for it more and wanted to reach 10K (which seemed a lot then). And then when we hit that Susi was like chasing higher numbers and super engaged and I just said I was happy with reaching that goal and everything else was a bonus let it beeee then we did some more, then I had a shit day and we didn't do shit and it grew with only 100 euros haha, then we hit 30 I felt like it's not impossible to get to 40K since she's turning 40 and we did and then it ended on 50K so to sum up; I just set it up (literally TWO clicks away - "support non profit" and then I clicked on "Unicef USA") and I hoped for the best of course. And the albums and vinyls was just seriously the perfect timing they reached out to me at. I didn't even ask for the stuff or think of giving away anything for this fundraise! But why not if it's there  Anyway, we enjoyed it all - thinking of new ways to reach people and get them engaged and everyone's so friggin lovely (besides 10% that will hate anything anyone does anytime anywhere to anywho for anything). It made me feel really lucky to be at the job I am at and the people I'm surrounded with. ALL positive and amazing. And even if it made me feel like shit it taught me to be OK with that people WILL complain or be mean. I'll just try to pity these people next time for being able to find anything small to complain at in a huge cluster of love. It says a lot about them  |
