FINALLY available to download on my iTunes and ahhh fuck, you guys! I felt like I wouldn’t love this album because honestly, she’s the only pop artist I listen to and I’ve been anxious about it feeling too modern or something (I KNOW, I’m lame,okay?) but god damn.
Happy- brought on all the tears instantly, let’s blame the Jameson? I can’t quite put my finger on it yet, but it feels a bit like a nod to the Linda Perry days but blended with Julia Michaels. Circle Game- hit me in the feels too. Love Me Anyway and 90 Days- I can’t even find the words for just yet, they’re just so lovely... I do wish she and Chris would’ve switched it up a bit so we could’ve heard a bit of her gravelly vocals there. I am so happy with the diversity represented throughout the entire album. Not too thrilled with Courage, for the reasons others have already stated. (Hey Why) Miss You Sometime is hella fun. We Could Have It All is gonna be another favorite too I think. Okay, I’m just rambling now. I’ll weigh in properly when the excitement from hearing this gem from our girl settles a bit!😍❤️😍

after the first "fast" listening a couple days ago i listened to the album now three times in a row with no lights and no phone. just me and my headphones. i like how clean her voice sounds and some lines of the lyrics are nice. overall the album is not a full disappointing because it is a bit better than what you could have expected after the singles. but still too predictible and far away from being memorable or even one of her best. personally i rank this one as probably her worst album. i really dont hate it but there is just nothing special like it used to be with all of her previous albums.

Enjoying this so far, think I prefer it to BT but maybe that’s because it’s new.
I don’t think Greg Kurstin pushes her as much as he could do, his songs with her not as great as they could be, like her ones with billy.

omg I didn’t had any expectations for this in my eyes rushed album...but oh my god this blews me away...i think it’s better than beautiful trauma 😲
I love how she goes in her pain and sad moments..
Happy is my fave but love me anyway gives my goosebumps all over...and courage omg...
damn I love them all....so much slower songs..but we could have it all so rock ish...so nice to hear...I love it all..and i really didn’t had that with BT and even with the truth about love

Okay, my expectations for H2BH were quite low, because I wasn't too impressed with the previously released tracks. And when I first heard Hey why, I was sure that it's definitely not gonna be my cup of tea, but how wrong was I - the album is amazing! And I started to like Hey why already haha!
Definitely need to listen to the album maaaaany more times, but after a couple times listening to it my faves are:
Circle game (fuck, the lyrics are so deep and moving and the parts about her dad hit home hard)
90 Days (love the sad and darkish vibe, and I think it would be even better without the robotic sound in the background)
My attic (very Barbies-ish and exactly what I expected from Julia, love the lyrics and the pain)
I always love the sad songs, so no wonder these are my favorites. And I love the fact that the album is not all about Carey, but this time the lyrics are more about her own demons and thoughts in life.
One thing that bothers me are the repetative choruses in many songs. But I still need to let the album sink in, before saying anything else about the other songs. But all in all - I love the fact that she has experienced with new things and styles, but it's still the Pink we know and love. Can't wait to get familiar with this one <3

I love it!! I really didn‘t expect this album to be so good. the beautiful trauma era isn‘t finished as I didn‘t see the tour yet. So I was actually not ready for a new album.
I love the diversity of the songs - there is something for a lot of different moods. And her voice is just on top!😊
