Hi all!
I’m sure we’re all very excited for the queen’s new album ‘Hurts 2B Human’, available April 26th, and we all want Moore.
In anticipation/celebration/fun, I’ve created this thread so we can all make our predictions on each song from the album. Post what you think it will sound like, a few made-up lyrics, the structures, lengths, features contributions, etc.!
Here’s a basic outline if anyone wants to use it for theirs:
1. “Hustle”: We know this.
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”:
3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this.
4. “My Attic”:
5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel:
6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid:
7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash:
8. “Courage”:
9. “Happy”:
10. “We Could Have It All”:
11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton:
12. “Circle Game”:
13. “The Last Song of Your Life”:
Please have fun and don’t be too unrealistic. When the album comes out, we’ll all see how accurate we were.

1. “Hustle”: We know this. 2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”: this title makes me think that it's 1) a typical love you/hate you song (I really hope it's not) and 2) that it's a good-feel kind of song, mainly because the first time I read the tracklist I read sunshine instead of sometime lol 3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this. 4. “My Attic”: this one's a big mystery lol it's one of the more intriguing ones on the list IMO maybe in the lyrics she goes through some boxes in her attic that catalogue her life and it's about reminiscing 5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel: We know this as well in a way. I just hope this doesn't get Try'ed where they rid it of its original magic with the new version's production IMO. I'm guessing she added some lyrics to the original song seeing how she is registered as a writer as well now. 6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid: I think this one's a slow jammer, something laid back and cool and still heavy on the meaning 7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash: maybe a clubby sex song about role playing lol 8. “Courage”: an empowerment song but not in a poppy way. More acoustic 9. “Happy”: story about the sad life of a stripper/prostitute called Happy, very socio-critical, and partly gospel 10. “We Could Have It All”: piano love song ballad 11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton: think Mean, but full on country blues 12. “Circle Game”: folktronic dance song 13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: slow piano song that swells into a big orchestra piece. "You don't want this to be the last song of your life" is maybe a lyric? lol something about hope maybe This was fun

I'm gonna state which previous songs of hers I think each track will be similar to.
1. “Hustle”: We know this.
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”: The phrasing kind of reminds me of CTMH tracks but I think this will be the closest to typical P!nk we've come to know. Similar to "Whatever You Want". Probably produced by Max Martin.
3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this.
4. “My Attic”: Immediately makes me think of "Barbies", mixed with "Open Door". Hopefully it's different, though. Don't want a rehash of content. Either acoustic guitar or piano driven.
5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel: We know this. It kinda reminds me of "I hate u, I love u" (without the cringe obv) and also has a "Just Give Me a Reason" vibe to it.
6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid: Chill song, kind of like "Better Life". Less heavy/somber lyrically than we think. Might be uplifting in a subtle way.
7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash: Electro club ballad like "What About Us" and "Broken & Beautiful". But lyrically similar to "Is This Thing On?" mixed with "Mean", "I Don't Believe You", "Where Did The Beat Go" and "You Get My Love". Hoping I'm completely wrong and it's social commentary.
8. “Courage”: I have a gut feeling this is the Sia song. Probably a sappy ballad about overcoming odds/struggle/adversity. Lyrical theme similar to "Nobody Knows", "Long Way To Happy", "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken", "The Great Escape" mixed with a little "Beam Me Up".
9. “Happy”: A musical and lyrical amalgamation of "Good Old Days" and "I Am Here". Production might also be "The Truth About Love". Bouncy, snappy, clap-py but with real instruments.
10. “We Could Have It All”: This was produced by Greg and co-written with Beck... not sure what to expect. Probably electro-pop. Nostalgic/melancholy vibe to it. The title reminds me of "Could've Had Everything" and I'm thinking it could have a similar lyrical theme to it.
11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton: This was produced & co-written by country musicians and features a country artist. Musically I agree with grenno – "Mean" maybe with a little "Break the Cycle" or "The One That Got Away" but more country. Lyrically like "Love Gone Wrong", "Love Song", "Please Don't Leave Me" and "You Get My Love".
12. “Circle Game”: Maybe a 'woke' song? Lyrically like "I Got Money Now" and "Disconnected" or even "Try Too Hard". Hoping against hope this isn't a snoozefest ballad.
13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: Agreed with grenno. Made me think of songs like "Glitter in the Air", "Gently" and "From a Closet in Norway (Oslo Blues)". Most probably a ballad, very similar to "Glitter in the Air" and "The Great Escape". Could have a "Conversations With My 13 Year Old Self" vibe to it.

Bear in mind, im normally totally wrong lol I thought Hustle was gunna be a Here Comes The Weekend part 2 type of song and thought Barbies would be a stupid girls part 2
1. “Hustle”: We know this.
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”: I agree with grenno, I think this will be a love you but I hate you song. Maybe along the sound of leave me alone im lonely
3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this.
4. “My Attic”: i think this will either be 1. reflecting on mistakes [skeletons she has in her attic] shes made in her life and wanting to store them away and forget about them. 2. could be a FU song. i hated this boy so gunna lock him in my 'attic' and forget about them [dont think it will be though] or 3. could be about her looking at old photos/reflecting on her younger years
5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel: i honestly have no idea tbh. grenno says we apparently already kinda know. have i missed something ?? I cant even guess what it could be about
6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid: I don't think itll be a ballad but only coz its an album title. angry/aggressive song maybe??
7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash: my gut feeling was it was a Beam Me Up 2 and either about a relationship on the rocks and she doesn't want it to end or mental illness / depression. But I googled Cash Cash because never heard of the name and they are 3 electronic DJs so now im not sure. probably house dancey type song
8. “Courage”: i agree with underdogs. Ballad probably, overcoming struggles
9. “Happy”: i actually dont think this will be a 'happy' song. i instantly thought Ballad but would she have 2 ballads in a row on an album??
10. “We Could Have It All”: no idea at all. my thought is breakup song
11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton: my initial thought was Please don't leave me, like 'yeh im a nightmare but love me anyway'. I had to google the guy because ive never heard of him and hes a country artist so obviously its gunna be that lane. maybe like The One That Got Away
12. “Circle Game”: its weird because im the only one so far that's said this. my first thought when I saw the title was it could be about her kids and how life evolves
13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: this title kinda worries me tbh. i think this is gunna be a You Get My Love 2, as in a long ass 5 min slow ballad. Now, i actually like YGML dont get me wrong [its a bit too long though] but i hate when albums end with a ballad, not only a ballad, but a bloody 5 minute ballad. Like i said i do like YGML, but after like 3 minutes im a bit like ok when is this gunna end now. So im hoping its a uplifting, 'dance like this is the last song of your life' song, but i do worry its a YGML 2

Here’s mine:
1. “Hustle”: We know this.
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”: I think she’ll say “Hey why” in this song more then “Miss You Sometime” as a refrain after the chorus with spacey backing vocals ala Kelly Clarkson’s “Would You Call That Love”. (I hate to compare artists, it’s just what comes to mind.) Some lyrics along the likes of “Hey, why do only I miss you sometime? / But I hate to love you all the time”.
3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this.
4. “My Attic”: I think this will be nostalgic and agree with what jonloch1 said but more about finding the mistakes/regrets in the attic and re-living them. Acoustic guitar driven and a little folky. “And there it is in my attic / Another heart I broke / Another word I shoudn’t have spoke / But maybe I should stop labeling with permanent markers / And think outside the box”.
5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel: I haven’t heard his version but I’m going to predict it’s the same song with a proper back-and-forth bridge ala “Just Give Me a Reason” instead of the repetitive “driving fast car” one I read from the transcribed lyrics. This is also where P!nk’s writing credit comes from.
6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid: As I stated in another thread, I had a gut feeling the title track would feature Khalid, I think it came from a dream; don’t ask me how I knew. I think it will be a deeply reflective/retrospective song, will be the only pop-rock influenced song on the record but more reserved. Lyrics along the lines of “Everyone who’s ever had something to live for / Knows it’s hard to find something to die for / It hurts to be human / And if there’s a god, they know this / So are our prayers excuses for the misery we find comfort in?”.
7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash: Not as dancey as their remixes usually are, but still uptempo. About just pretending everything is okay to make it through another day, minorly political. Features a house influenced (but not super huge) breakdown at the end with lots of adlibs. “Can we pretend so this fun doesn’t end? / Problems can be saved for another Monday / Worries in the back of our minds / Priorities on the front desk you’ll find / In time / But right now, can we pretend?”.
8. “Courage”: I’m gonna guess this is the Sia song like others have said, it will be uplifting and empowering but not in a cheesy way. Some unique up and down vocals exploring a large range and lyrics like “Never been a fan of big names / Just big hearts” and “Baby, this time we got a future ahead of us / There will be no running back so have courage”.
9. “Happy”: This will have lots of irony, about being happy doesn’t necessarily mean being happy and other peoples’ happiness shouldn’t be the same as yours because everyone has different things and we should adjust our expectations around that. “If I’m not smiling today, don’t assume I’m down / I’m just gettin’ up and wakin’ my heart”.
10. “We Could Have It All”: Lots of clapping and organic instruments, somewhat blusey and Motown influenced. Harmonica solo after the bridge before the final chorus. “We could have it all if we just stop wanting it / Perfection is imperfect and that’s why love is a mirror”.
11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton: Not as country as we think, will be about how messy P!nk is but she knows him (Carey/Chris) will love her anyway. Basically a more uptempo/optimistic “You Get My Love”. “You know you’re gonna do it so just love me anyway / Stop acting like you’ll save it for another day”.
12. “Circle Game”: The most uptempo song on the album, full on dance and tongue-in-cheek lyrically like “Welcome to the circle game / Let’s keep jerking and playing games / It fucking feels good / When someone else is touching you / Like I could / But tonight no one is loving blue”.
13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: “Waiting for Love” meets “Free”, that’s all I hear in my head. HUGE vocals and a slow start that builds up to a climatic electric guitar finale, the longest song on the album. “If this is the last song of your life / Make sure you’re heard / Make sure you’re standing / To see the lights fade / And the magic cave / Into the last night of sacrifice”.

All I wanna say is that I think you all are friggin amazing with these predictions. I read it all and I could copy paste each one of your thoughts about some of the songs because you nailed it! Uhm imma get coffee and wake up and try start my own prediction thinking but all in all hearing Walk me home and Hustle I think we will have a much more poppier and happier / up tempo album maybe a little more CTMH/TAL like album than BT. Think most songs will be like WAU, Where we go and Secrets with a few exceptions.

1. “Hustle”: We know this.
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”: This screams Send My Love (To Your New Lover) so my safest bet is this is the Max Martin song. Usual sassy, easy pop about how she hates Carey but still missing him. Usual love you hate you song which probably won't bring anything new to the table.
3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this.
4. “My Attic”: This would be about her childhood memories, looking back and having a little nostalgy. The sound would be similar to Gentle/Open Door, mostly acoustic guitar driven. Probably a Billy track.
5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel: Since I didn't listen to the Wrabel's version, I think whis will be a piano-driven, soulful power ballad with some indie elements to it. Something Sam Smith would release. Buildup at the end.
6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid: This will be midtempo r'n'b mixed with soul, about all the struggles we have to go through today. Hopefully it's not a love song, more like a social commentary. I'm betting on a song like Shawn Mendes' and Khalid's Youth. I bet this is the 3rd single because RCA will try to boost her streaming power with Khalid. I'm just afraid this is the Sia song and it will be... well... like every Sia song.
7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash: I want this to be good but I fear this will be the worst song on the album. The lyrics are "Can we pretend there's no tomorrow", with a simple love story in the lyrics. EDM without any standout feature I bet.
8-9. “Courage”&“Happy”: I thought one of them is a Sia song, but she's not listed in the producers so I was wrong. One of them is an uptempo, one is a midtempo, Courage is a self-empowerment anthem and Happy is a more laid back song where she's reflecting on her love and life. What makes her happy. Since we know the producers these two are gonna be simple pop songs, nothing groundbreaking.
10. “We Could Have It All”: Now this one... Ehm. Beck produced Feel Good Time which I'm not a fan of, so hopefully this is gonna be more like his work, not that song. I think this is a midtempo as well, about the some love you hate you things we've heard before. The sound will be interesting tho, hopefully more in the alternative/experimental side.
11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton: Okay this is gonna be more "Setting The World On Fire" than "Love Gone Wrong". Usual country cliché duet which America would eat up.
12. “Circle Game”: I think this is the most interesting one. Hopefully it's not a Carey song but a social commentary. Better Life pops up in my mind while looking at the title. No idea what the sound is or the producers. I think it's heavy midtempo with a lot of bass and synths.
13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: Piano ballad with orchestra buildup in the end. The lyrics would be "Feeling strong tonight, singing the last song of your life". Self-reflecting song, lyrically similar to I Am Here/Wild Hearts. This is probably the Billy Mann song so it means it's gonna be the highlight of the album.

Don't laugh at me 1. “Hustle”: We know this. Respect.
2. “(Hey Why) Miss You Sometime”: Distance.
Ballad. Loads of emotions. But in a careful and shy way. Her voice makes the song. And her voice is soft, light and fragile. You can hear the slightest lip moves. I donno something like Julia Michael Issues or the i hate u i love you song. I hear loads and loads of violins of all kinds. Maybe a tiny piano note to break it off a bit. I think it could be about being with someone but feeling lonely and missing them even when they’re there, hence the ”hey why”. I kinda hear a bouncy pop song ala Just like fire here too though, so I’m not really sure what I think. 3. “Walk Me Home”: We know this. Loneliness.
4. “My Attic”: Memories.
I think this is a metaphor for old things we’re still carrying with us. Things that made us. Things we don’t think about that made us. Things that are there every day but that we know they are there. And we’re not ready to let go of them for that reason either. Or to bring them back to our lives. It can also be things we have forgot about. Something like finding an old game we haven’t played for years and years but that we have kept safe because it was a fun game and we made happy memories when we played it. Finding this game again could be a great surprise and even something that could make us just as happy again. I’m hearing Ave Mary A here mixed with It’s all your fault. Poppy, moody and rocky. 5. “90 Days” featuring Wrabel: Vulnerability.
Like someone said. We kinda know this already. The lyrics are perfection and I’m excited. 6. “Hurts 2B Human” featuring Khalid: Happiness.
For some reason I think this song is happiness in a tragic world. 2B = beautiful and bubbly? It’s about being all caught up in a happy bubble being a loving and grateful human and then from nowhere someone who happens to be bored and have a needle can just burst the bubble and ruin your mood or even your life. Because we’re human with feelings and we hurt even if all we do is love. Music wise I’m hearing Benny Blanco - Eastside. 7. “Can We Pretend” featuring Cash Cash: Freedom.
Obviously a dance song, no? ”You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching, love like you'll never be hurt, sing like there's nobody listening, and live like it's heaven on earth.”. I think it’s gonna be something themed along these words. Like stop whatever the fuck you're doing and just let go because YOLN 8. “Courage”: Confidence.
Think it’s about surprising yourself. Like you did something you never thought you’d be able to because you didn’t think you could. And then feeling proud of yourself for making it happen. Like, you know, the thought that comes later when things have happened and you're looking back at it and your part/thoughts/insecurities in it and you see how much you've grown since. 9. “Happy”: Imperfections.
I think it’s a song questioning happiness. Would we ever be truly happy without the moments we find ourselves in when we aren’t being happy? I think it’s a ballad. I think it’s gonna be deep as fuck and I think this is gonna be the best song of the album. I want it to be like For now was on BT and I want it to be like Free and When we’re through lyrically. 10. “We Could Have It All”: Risks.
Like someone mentioned it reminded me too of Could’ve had everything. I think it’s about risks not being taken for whatever reasons. Maybe grass is not greener on the other side but it could also be the perfect golden grass you never know can't let the thought go-theme? Or people that have all the possibilities to make things happen but they have stopped dreaming? I think it’s a heartbreaking ballad ala You get my love. 11. “Love Me Anyway” featuring Chris Stapleton: Individuality.
Probably good and bad sides with a person. Struggles. Mistakes. And wanting to be loved for who we are even with all of our flaws and luggage. Music wise could be something like the You+Me song mixed with Love Gone wrong. 12. “Circle Game”: Temptations.
My first thought was Lion King and Circle of life. I guess it’s not that but maybe knowing something’s there teasing your eye, but you’re not allowed to give it your focus to it because you’ll lose = the circle game. Like maybe a playful, teasing, ala Secrets theme. I’m hearing Revenge music mixed with Walk of shame. 13. “The Last Song of Your Life”: Go out there and shine, you magnificent what-the-fuck.
I guess this one confuses me most. ”Goodbye everybody i've got to go gotta leave you all behind and face the truth”, that’s what I’m thinking when I see the title. Could be something similar. Maybe it’s been a rough but great ride, we’re all grown up now, time to cut the umbilical cord and spread your wings… I don’t know. But definitely NOT her last song go fuck that thought
