Does P!nk mainly write lyrics, music or both? From what I’ve heard her say in the past is that she usually writes the lyrics and melodies and works with other people on the music. |

Well, where should I start?
- It's really nice to hear her in a different sound which suits her voice really well. The little extra effect on her voice (which she had in the Funhouse bridge too) is awesome, and all the runs are perfect.
- The production is finally crystal clear. I don't know what was happening with WMH with that unbearably noisy instrumental, but this one is quality work finally. The bridge has really great vibes, I love the little bells with the keys and the bass guitar, the whole song should have been like that.
- The thing is, the melody has been used million times before. This is really reminds me of Uptown Funk/Say/Paloma Faith. This swing-influenced uptempo throwback banger is really hard to do in an original way and I WISH they would have played around more! Especially hearing the production in the bridge, there was so many possibilities! This is once again a cute hit, held back to make sure it's easily consumable.
- The lyrics are not her best, even compared to her silly ones - and don't click with me either.
Overall I feel like I'm happy because she did a detour with this sound but she could have gone a little more far to really get the best out of it.

It reminds me of those 50s retro music tribute acts in a way lol I’m sure this will get covered and sung on talent shows a lot! I’m sure Kelly Clarkson is working on it as we speak 😂

I have to say that after the first listen I was not really convinced at all (now I've listened more than once though). I think this will be a grower for me. First thought was that it reminded me of Christina Aguilera and that the lyrics are quite bad. But I do love her vocals and I love that it's different, that she's trying to do different things.
I'll need to listen to it more and see how it feels.
