Seems like Taylor Swift is releasing the same day, so Hurts 2b Human going #1 is probably out of the question now  Probably lead single, though. I doubt the album will fully drop that day. She will want to milk sales with preorders and bundles as much as possible. Surprise album releases count on streaming for big numbers, and Taylor is extremely money hungry, I don’t see this happening. She wants actual sales. You sure? |

Yeah, she's been liking posts on Tumblr about "the lead single" coming out on 26/4. Also, surprise album releases don't work with a countdown. And like I said, she's waaaay too greedy to just rely on streaming. They will need time to produce physical items and have preorders frontloaded to get a high charting position with a lot of sales. If this is actually just a single, this works in our favor. Think how many people will be launching their Spotify/Apple Music/iTunes app for this and seeing P!nk's banner/promo for H2BH. If even 10% casually listen to a track of two from Pink's album, those are streams that count toward the opening week. I have (very little remaining) faith in RCA to know their shit, and a lot of faith in Taylor's greed. Especially that she's with a new label now and they won't risk an album underperforming. |

So, I checked BMI and there’s a song called My Attic written by Julia Michaels and two others, but no mention of P!nk... could it be it’s a Julia Michaels song that she liked so much she wanted to keep it for herself or did they forget to tuck on her name? :/ or is it written by P!nk and someone else but it just shares the same title? Hmmm

So, I checked BMI and there’s a song called My Attic written by Julia Michaels and two others, but no mention of P!nk... could it be it’s a Julia Michaels song that she liked so much she wanted to keep it for herself or did they forget to tuck on her name? :/ or is it written by P!nk and someone else but it just shares the same title? Hmmm (if I'm right) considering the BMI #, it doesn't seem to be a new recording 🤔. That's strange. Or maybe it's a coincidence that Julia Michaels has a song named My attic. Probably not. |
