When I need to use the scissors and I'm left-handed and cut something it's not that simple thing to do 😑😂

I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand last September. In November the doctor told me I have it in my left hand as well, but its not too bad so they'll send for me in 6 months to look at it again. This week is has been so bad, I'm getting even less sleep because I'm in so much pain  |

I've been taking painkillers and they sometimes work, but sometimes not. I also have a splint support thing that I can wear but that often does help. Its worse when I'm asleep so I used to keep painkillers by the side of my bed, but one day I woke up and four were missing and I didn't remember waking up and taking them, so I try not to take them during sleep time now incase I take too many! I'm hoping I will get a letter soon to see the dr again, hopefully next month, and I can tell them I want surgery on my left hand now as well. The surgery I had on my right hand was probably the most pain I've ever experienced because they're basically cutting open your hand and jiggling your nerves around lol, and then being without my right hand was horrible, I cried three days after surgery because I couldn't open a bag of crisps lol. But it worked, I've got a tiny scar but no more pain....and I got six weeks off work too which is always a bonus  |

I cannot use scissors properly with either of my hands, not even lefty scissors. People actually laugh when they see it. It sucksss Yeah, you're right! It's hard to use lefty scissors too  Also my dad is left-handed and when we need to use the scissors people laugh so yes, it's definitely sucks. |

I don’t think I’ve once called in sick to any job in my life.
I know people get sick sometimes, but this is too often.
Also seeing Snapchat posts from this coworker / his girlfriend right now.....
Yup, you don’t look sick.
Just be honest.
Say “hey, I really don’t want to work today, I have other plans”
I’d respect that way more, and actually be willing to help you figure it out.
