I keep replaying it and I'm getting more and more dissapointed. The verses are great, the melody of the chorus is phenomenal. If we could add a little pre-prechorus, an actual bridge with some instrumental part, boost the chorus quality-wise and add more layers to the end + uuuh-uuuhs at the very end with some climatic instrumental, this could have been a major song for her. I just can't comprehend that a song like this can end up like this. I just can't. That's pretty much a problem I've had with her ever since I'm Not Dead lol the melodies she creates are sooo beautiful sometimes that I wished she'd roll around it and just makes the most out of it! Back in the day I said that her songs always sound like they remembered they forgot to feed the meter... |

love the review.... alls of it also the :45 thing you say about the movies  I think Ive had the movie thing in my head from the mural / universal and i keep thinking back to the thriller video. like obviously its totally different vibe of music and different message, but like - the beginning of the Thriller video where the girl gets scared at the movies its probably not that, but I have fun imagining. <3 and yah. cant wait to sing this in the stadiums hope you are able to hang in the crowd and not busy being official tour person like in the dream What dream? Someone else told me on messenger today they dreamt about me and doing her promo stuff! Haha. I fell asleep with the song playing and had a dream about the tour. And like, her assistant or tour manager or somebody important got fired or quit or had to leave or something, and all the tour peoples and Pink were panicking. So you just took over, without being asked. You just started on your own, taking initiative, and like then became an official person. so like, you were busy being important. but you still took time to run by and say hi even when you were busy. and you snuck food out of the catering for me since you knew we had been queueing all day and hungry. 😬 |

there was something weird with gift cards....
Like some how we ended up with a card for shopping it was like not even worth a lot like $50, and like then after it turned out it was hers but we already spent it.
She was kinda angry.

I was thinking shit we kinda screwed over the official #WalkMeHome hashtag using #StreamWalkMeHome, "just taking over" and I first thought I fucked up their plan to maybe make it trend  but then I thought again, and everyone was using both hashtags in their tweets, and I encouraged that too. And it did trend. Plus, holla-ing at people with the word "stream" in their feeds, is not a bad thing. Plus everyone's partying and coming together, sharing, buzzing and chatting, so if someone official person thinks I fucked up or ruined something, for some reason, then I'm here to hear it and learn better for next time. But doing this with them, inofficially, would have made things a lot better. Like only getting some of the promo videos, graphics, colors, and exact times releasing stuff, just short info about their plan - a bit FYI. I mean all the Sony Music people get it, why can't we if we stick to the rules? Now it just felt rushed and a quick fix, even if it turned out OK. Anyway, back to your dream, yes I tend to take over and with all force (ops!) but I do think things through very carefully. I'm sure they all thought oh well it works, flows, we've no time to find anyone, let her do whatever she's doing, she's a weirdo I'll always bring you foods. Not her best lyrics, but some of them touch my heart and that's enough for me.
Oddly enough this song reminds me of Need you now - Lady Antebellum somehow, don't ask me why... Lol
Edit: i see someone compared it to another Lady Antsbellum song, so we can agree that it's that particular style of sound. Nothing related to either song, but the style. Not bad, but not very great either. It got stuck in my head all day tho.

Wow, I haven’t posted in this thread yet....
I personally really like the song. I think it’s one of her bests lead singles but NOT one of her bests songs overall, obviously.
I am definitely curious to hear the rest of Hurts 2B Human as I got a feeling this will be one of the most tamest and radio friendly songs, if not the most.
