This is the kind of song I expect from her!!! It does her voice justice, it's pop but a bit of alternative, yet rockish enough to be in her catalog. It has simple but interesting lyrics also.
I hope we get a studio version too.

This is the kind of song I expect from her!!! It does her voice justice, it's pop but a bit of alternative, yet rockish enough to be in her catalog. It has simple but interesting lyrics also. Seems too new from BB. Oh, and the Led Zep cover of ‘Babe, I’m gonna leave you’ slaps hard. She really shines on the rockier side of things. |

I have to listen to some of the better quality recordings of River, cause I think, even though her voice sounds fantastic in the verses, she gets a little too high pitchy/shrill in the chorus. Now, maybe it's how the song should be sung (don't think I ever heard the original), don't know if it were just bad recordings, or maybe this song would fit her raspy voice more IMO. Idk. |
