Bought a desk yesterday. Waited for them to confirm this home office thing would last. And now they have. We're gonna work from home until December 31st (probably even longer). Today I got a whole home office, with a huge ass curved screen and a comfy chair, wireless mouse and keyboard and and and (thanks work for letting us bring stuff home).  Oh and let's not speak about the badass speaker we bought playing my favorite songs. Wooot.  Kinda enjoy this change and freedom. Well, we can get in to the office if we want, when we get bored at home  But home is awesome for work now yiihaaa! I kinda wanna freelance again now too   This makes me happy. you always make the best of everything. while I complain. your office sounds amazing I should start working from home, cept I don’t know how that’d work. 🤣 |

Was looking at all the concerts coming up in Seattle. Nothing is scheduled til like February, But as I was scrolling the months past that I saw an artist listed that my mom likes. I clicked on the event out of curiosity and front row tickets were available, just 2 of them and pretty much exactly in the center. So I bought them. The tickets were pretty decent price, it’s at one of Seattle’s better more famous venues and tix were $65 each. (Of course Ticketmaster added like $35 total in fees so grand total $165 - still ok price if it makes Mom happy) Me and my mom don’t do a ton of stuff together like this, so I’m excited to have found these. And it’s an ARTIST she likes, so she’ll know I did this FOR HER. And she’ll probably be excited leading up to the concert and like wanna make me listen to all his songs and stuff so I’ll know em. I think I’ll tell my mom about it on Christmas, And then it’ll be a long wait still (Concert is Aug 2021), but that just means more time for her to be excited |
