Hey guys, just wanna reminisce a little bit, so I have this thing where I like to write funny posters at her shows, and while at the Canada show second night, she saw my sign! So happy someone caught it on tape.
So I went on the first night and was trying to get her to see my sign but to no avail. I was standing at the tip of the heart then. That's why I think if you're in the left/right pit and wanna get her attention, the best spot is actually where I stood in the video. You can try it before Smells Like Teen Spirit or For Now, I think.
Anyway, the barriers are indeed very high, and for me I'm 175cm, I have difficulty seeing what's happening most of the time. I also felt that the left and right pits were not the best spots despite being VIP, yes we get to grab her whatever, but most of the time we're looking at her arse because we're "behind" her.

I'm looking at Aussie dates, the VIP early entry seems to get you to the front (not the left and right pits). |

That's cool because she interacts with people in the pit. It's good if you want to give her a gift or shake her hand, but not to see the show. We saw her from behind a big part of the show (and for all the acoustic part) I prefered being front row for this tour. She interacted with us when she spoke. She gave us winks 😉.Laugh and everything. That was cool. That's bad because real fans are often in the pit. For the next shows to come, I will try to get floor tickets, as close to the stage as possible.I don't want to be in the pit, even if the atmosphere is more friendly in the pit. But i'm sure you will enjoy the show from the pit because the show is amazing! |

I was frustrated because they released new pit tickets on the day of the show, cheaper than what I paid...

However it’s not that exiting to hear people not enjoying the pit. I have no other option but to make that pit my bitch because we went all in on that for our shows. I don’t mind her behind but I perfer her face. Seems like next year there won’t be a pit? At least from what I saw at live nation arena maps. |

I’d also like to experience the show from front row outside of the pit....but I don’t think I’ll like it more. I could absolutely see her for most of the show and you have a decent view of the whole main stage as well. And the view for the aerials is insane. Sooooo fucking close. And there isn’t a normal barrier like with an actual gap, which is why the stage is so high. It’s just like a bar and then the stage. But yeah, I think the pit was worth every penny and will be my first choice for the next leg if possible.

I was near the middle strip of the pit. I couldn't see what was going on the opposite side or part of the main stage. But its still a great time in the pit. I'm debating if I want to see it outside the pit next time. To see the whole show as intended. But part of me is like maybe the dvd will be great this time and I should just go party in pit again. I might just pick a better spot.
I looked through a few of the arena layouts. Some have the current layout with the pit. Others have a generic layout. Maybe those with the generic layout haven't updated to her layout yet ?? Anyone's guess
