Started to watch THE LEGEND OF BILLIE JEAN but fell asleep part way through (I'll finish it this week) My friend Brandon recommended it almost two years ago (see, I slow at watching everybody's movie recommendations), when we went to see Pat Benatar (who is on the soundtrack). Anyway Brandon was like "You'll like it, I know it" and he also told me that he was a fan as a kid, and that he still loved the movie because "it was an early example (for him) of (implied) gayness in film, and a strong female lead gay character". its easy to see early on how the film is gonna go. and I'm sure the ending won't have anything unexpected for me, but I think ill enjoy the rest of it. it IS corny like I've been told, But I can also see how it could get a bit of the cult following. I also see why Brandon loves it. oh and extra points because it came out in 1985, the year I was born. anybody else seen this? anybody a fan? thoughts? __LegendOfBillieJean(onesheet)1.jpg) AND...... The PAT BENATAR track from this movie, just because. |
