The Two Wolves Fall Release is almost here!We are so excited to share our new wines with our Tribe! As a reminder, our release is scheduled for tomorrow,
October 29 at 12pm PST
We love fall. From the changing colors on the vines to the crisp air in the mornings, fall reminds us that change is the only constant in life. It also provides an excuse to curl up next to a fire, pop open a bottle of red wine and cook something comforting to share with loved ones before the buzz of the holiday season is upon us.
That’s why we are thrilled to offer our third release: three complex (and delicious) red wines that welcome you to savor the spirit of the changing seasons.
2016 Cabernet Franc
As you may know, Cab Franc is my spirit animal. Like a hummingbird, unique and aggressive with its love. This wine is a seductress, with its briary raspberry, nutmeg and vanilla on the nose, along with herbal notes, green olive and black pepper. There’s a dusty earth quality that follows through on the palate, with a beautiful balance of savory and fruit, masculine and feminine. This is an elegant wine, with fine tannins and a long, energetic finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Roasted meat, mushroom risotto or pasta with mushrooms and herbs,
rice and cranberry salad, raspberry vanilla tart.
2016 Cabernet Sauvignon
Some Cabernets want you to sit up straight and keep your elbows off of the table. Ours wants you to slow dance to your favorite song and kick back with friends that don’t care where you sit. Make no mistake, this is a serious wine, an explosively aromatic one with black cherry, black plum, clove, violets and black pepper. There’s also a deep, earthy quality with green bean and fennel aromas. On the mouth, rich flavors are enhanced by subtle savory notes. This is a focused wine, a precise one, that lingers on the palate with the slightest kiss of French oak.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Grilled filet mignon, Coq Au Vin, braised short ribs, roasted caramelized vegetables.
2016 Petit Verdot
This here is a Viking wine. Light a fire, rug yourself up in a dark lair with someone sexy (it could just be you) and prepare to be seduced. Not many people make a stand alone Petit Verdot, but in this soil and in this place, it is absolutely magical. This is a brooding walk through a winter forest, with perfumed sage, cedar, black pepper, fig and blueberry aromas. You may also notice tobacco, mushroom and baking chocolate. Expect huge, silky tannins with a knock out finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS: Grilled steak, swordfish with caponata, cheese platter (featuring Stilton) with dried fruit and fig-spiced chutney, salt baked fish, spicy foods, mole sauce,
sweet potato pie with
licorice ice cream.
The DetailsOur three new beautiful wines will be available tomorrow, October 29, after 12pm PST. You will have a choice to purchase a single bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, a 3-pack of Cabernet Sauvignon or a mixed 3-pack of Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Please set a reminder on your calendar to login to your Tribe account if you’d like to purchase these wines.

first-come, first-served basis.
We wish we could share our limited selection with all of you and do hope to make more wine in the future, but for now we appreciate your patience with this process.
We will begin shipping wine the week of November 11, 2019. If you live in an area where the weather is starting to cool off dramatically, we highly recommend selecting overnight or 2-day shipping. Please note there must be an adult (21 years+) present to sign for the wine.
As always, thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love since our first release last fall. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm more than you know and we can’t wait to share our next release with you.
