Do any of you spend time gaming? Which platform do you prefer? Playstation, Xbox, Pc, Nintendo, portable, mobile, other? And what game are you currently playing? I've been engrossed with a game called Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4 the past month, it's a masterpiece. It's sci-fi RPG, but at the same time scarily realistic. Long story short, time is set after an apocalypse in 2066, and artificial intelligence gone wrong. Fast forward thousand something years, the world as we once knew, is now controlled by hostile machines once made to keep peace in the world. The remaining humans are living in simple tribes, and my mission is to figure out how come not the entire humanity was wiped away, but also stop the machines from destroying the earth again. I'm almost done with the main mission, and I honestly don't want it to end, so I find myself just running around exploring the beautiful landscape instead, and doing side missions. Planning to either play The Last Of Us Remastered, OR Assassins Creed Origins afterwards. Haven't decided yet. I used to spend loooads of time on ARK Survival Evolved on Steam while it was still in alpha release, but my computer gave up due to the ridiculous size of the updates. Soo, what about you? Any takers?

That game sounds really fun! I try to limit my gaming as I get a bit obsessed. I have been playing Clash of Clans for years (phone game) and it is rubbish really, but I like my clan. I haven't used my PS4 in ages but I love games like Tomb Raider, GTA, Assassins Creed, Metal Gear Solid and Ratchet and Clank haha. I quite enjoyed Call of Duty, Battlefield and Halo when I had an Xbox but I am terrible at FPS.

I quite enjoyed Call of Duty, Battlefield and Halo when I had an Xbox but I am terrible at FPS. It is indeed, it was seriously love at first sight. <3 I highly recommend it, and available for PS4 only, they're even planning a sequel, and an expansion pack is already released :-) I get a tiny bit obsessed as well I'm afraid, when I first got the game, I played nearly a whole day non stop til I became cross-eyed:p but it was worth every second. <3 Forgot to mention it is an open world game, and the map is HUGE. So many beautiful places to explore, and I'm kind of having a tiny crush on the protagonist (Aloy). lol I have yet to play any of the games of the Assassins creed series, but I do have Origins waiting for me.. I just love to escape reality for a while and engage in gaming. My life would be empty without it. Some people might say it's unhealthy (well I agree to some extent, especially if it is the only thing in life that matters), but lately I managed to limit gaming simply because I haven't had the time, and priorities happened. I played metal gear solid on the old skool NES back in the days, but never finished it. But Super Mario Bros on the other hand... <3 FPS has never been my thing, I did try COD once on Xbox with a friend of mine, but I kept dying so that wasn't any fun. I only recently got the PS4, after switching from my oooold PS2 from 2004, and I was baffled by the difference in the graphics. I used to play loads of GTA on PS2 (Vice City and San Andreas), so now I got GTA 5 waiting for me, along with a few other games. Decisions are hard, but I think The Last Of Us is up next, I've been wanting to play that game for a long time. I was seriously addicted to Candy Crush a few years ago, I dare not think about how much money I spent to progress in the game... :O

I don't think gaming is unhealthy if managed properly - if people aren't prioritising life over games then that is probably a side effect of other struggles rather than the game itself. Like you I just don't have the time at the moment, but it's a nice way to relax on an evening and I'll always love to play. My husband plays a few computer-based games as well. Absolutely love Super Mario Bros! You've reminded me of all my old favourites. Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Abe, Pandemonium!, Tekken. All of the old school pure fun games. Love Plants Vs. Zombies (Old and GW), The Sims and Pokémon (have a DS just for that). So many things.

I've got a PS3 but I don't really play it that much. I love the Dead Island game though. I'm currently playing that again for the third time lol.

You definitely won't be disappointed in HZD <3 I agree, it's a very nice way to get my mind off of things I miss the old skool games, and I was so sad when they discontinued producing the Mini NES Classics, with pre-installed games, because I was planning on buying one it's just not the same playing via emulator on the laptop. But I do have a USB nes controller, just to get the old skool feel I played Sims a lot when I was in my teens, and rumour has it Sims 5 is up for release! Gotta admit I'm really tempted, and curious to see how much the graphics have changed since I last played.

I got a PS4 last November for Crash Bandicoot, and now whenever I get an email about the PS store having sales I end up buying random games for pretty cheap. Today I've been playing Little Nightmares, and I'm loving it. It's just the right amount of creepy.

All of my friends play Horizon so I know what your talking about coz it’s all they bloody talk about lol. I used to be into playing games but a few years ago I just lost the patients for it all together. I do still dwelve into Tomb Raider every now and then. I was really into Left For Dead, Dead Island, GTA and the last game I got into was Evil Within.
It sounds like you are enjoying playing Horizon so that’s great. I used to put missions aside to explore as well.

Since I don't have a PS4, I watched all cut scenes of Horizon on YouTube. I love scifi and it was great watching an 8 hour long movie, lol. I've always been a Nintendo boy and I am so happy to see Nintendo getting at last so much love from 3rd party games. I'm definitely buying South Park and Crash when they come out.
