You Get My Love is awful on every level. Elaborate please I’m curious to know what it is that you think is awful When she starts humming deeply singing about laying next to him on the bed it starts well. The mood is set and you can expect a nice mellow honest affirmation of love. But then she starts screaming. And I love when she sings high but in this particular song it doesn't work at all, at some parts it even hurts the ears. The chorus doesn't fit the lyrics and the tone of the beggining parts. Then she starts to throw really cheesy and random cliches which doesn't reflect her genius lyricism. The chorus just entirely throws me off and I can't stand listening to that screaming. Maybe it's the melody that makes it like screaming, there are tons of songs with high parts (Chandelier, Hello, even Stay With Me) but this one is not pleasing to my ears. 🤷 There's Glitter for example. It has a high part too, beautifully crafted and stunning lyricism. Just done well with similar theme.

Thanks for explaining So the chorus mainly? ☺️ I tried to listen to it from your point of view and I think understand what you mean. I like the high parts though, because there is a lot of emotions in them. But maybe she could have sung “us” and some other parts with less power to make it a lil more balanced 🤷🏽♀️ But damn the rest of the song, the lower more quiet parts, are just like a warm smooth hug. I love the stripped down thing a lotttt. More of that!

I can't decide. It used to be Secrets, but the live performance is so jaw dropping amazing, I think I love it now(is that considered a spoiler?). The songs I listen to the least are Where We Go and You Get My Love. IDK why I skip Where We Go, and I'm rarely in the mood for YGML.

Since the tour ends in days I guess there's no point in spoilers anymore 😅

Hands down Revenge. Then, You Get My Love. I never cared for Here Comes The Weekend off TTAL, either. And yet I love her collaboration with Eminem You Need Me on his album. Her vocals are powerful on You Get My Love but I just don't care for the style.

I once put BT on while I went to sleep, and I was shocked back to wakefulness and almost got a heart attack when the first chorus came on and she screamed "YOU GEET MYYY LOOOVVEEEE!" #truestory

I like YGML but i have to be in the mood for it. I absolutely can't stand that Disney melody in Beautiful Trauma and don't care for Revenge.
