I should be watching the Minnesota accent videos so I can pretend I’m in Fargo.  I was watching Scottish and English and Australian videos. |

Not watching right now, but I’m going to put it on tonight... Ladies and Gentlemen.... the Fabulous Stains”I had never heard of the movie, but discovered it in a round about way. I saw this image online, sorta a meme, but it’s not really a meme it’s just a screen shot:  I recognized right away that it was DIANE LANE, who I am a big fan of but I’m like “what is this? 🤣 I’ve never seen this image before” So I do some google searching and find out it’s a movie she did in 1982.... Shes like a troubled teen and ends up starting a PUNK band that gets super famous. Sounds cool.  I texted my brother who’s a big movie nerd, and he said the movie is pretty good and the music in it is rad also. So, ima give it a watch. Apparently it never had a big run, it was released independently in ‘82 and then just kinda made the rounds being a shown on TV movie. Anyway - it was released in physical format about 10 years ago (now OOP), but I found a copy - so here we go. Anybody seen this? Somebody watch it with me.  |

I like that they use the old 4:3 aspect ratio instead of the current 16:9.
It’s a nice touch.

Just put on PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE
I have never seen it and there is a good chance I end up not liking it....
For one, I’m not an Adam Sandler fan (though I like The Wedding Singer)
And the reviews I’ve read, it just doesn’t seem like a movie that would grab my attention.
The movie was written / directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (who I think is an asshole).
There are some theories that Paul Thomas Anderson based the movie slightly (or at least parts of the film) on his relationship with FIONA APPLE.
So,
I’m gonna watch and see what I can find. 🤷🏻♀️
Also Jon Brion composed the score, so that’s a plus.
Anybody else seen this?
Thoughts?
Will I like it?

I know I’ve seen Jai Courtney in multiple things, but I can’t recall anything specific other than TERMINATOR GENISYS where he was Kyle Reese. I wish they would have given him the Michael Beihn haircut from the first Terminator to make it more consistent  |

Started over with Criminal Minds, saw lot but not all.. 4epis every tuesday eve on tv.. Last week season 5 ended so tonight i installed myself on the couch.. Are they starting season 10..like wtf?!!
