Spoiler alert… Now I know the ending….. 🤦🏻♀️ Its fine, I probably woulda never watched it. there are 6 seasons of awesome epic weirdness between the first episode and the ending anyway, so maybe you should give it a try  I mean… It’s called LOST and I’m always lost enough as it is. 🤷🏻♀️ |

SCREAM VI went and saw it last night, finally. I had planned on seeing it sooner but too much work and other stuffs going on. But happy I still managed to make it out to see it in the theater. I liked this one a lot more than I thought I would. Especially with Neve being out.... Gale Weathers was there, which I don't consider a spoiler, since she's been in the trailers. But having her in the film makes it all seem more tied together. I actually like the new cast members, and Scream VI I would actually rank pretty high among the other sequels. The do some new stuffs with this, while paying respect and making little references towards the rest of the franchise. This movie had me more anxious than I anticipated  Also... I gotta say, I really enjoyed Mindy in this one (Randy's neice), she was super fun in the film being much like her uncle and giving all the rules to horror franchises. Anybody else see this? Thoughts? Oh.... and the opening was pretty intense and had me like "Whatttt the heck?" like ultra confused for a bit. fun twists. Yes, watched it too! I don't think I enjoyed it as much as you did, but it was DEFINITELY a step up from Scream 5, which I didn't like very much. Part 6 has super high replay value IMO. I am glad that they worked on Samantha's character cause I didn't get much from her until the last moments of the fifth movie. She was definitely a big highlight in this one. The entire sister-dynamic with her and Tara was great. I honestly kinda missed Neve TBH and hear she will be back for 7 which makes me happy! And as much as I liked Gale's chase scene, she felt kinda out of place here and a tad tagged on. And honestly, there was this one scene with her early on that made me so mad at her, really made me dislike her lol The opening was nice. Totally inspired (I am not using the words "ripped off" lol) by Mario Bava's movies, but that's Scream for ya... They like to do that it seems lol just too bad the opening kill was done so quickly. I would have enjoyed a nice, long chase scene with Samara Weaving. She's just too fabulous Overall, it has high rewatch value - BUT it is so out there, and so damn silly with TONS of moments where you just have to shut off your brain cause nothing makes sense... not that the other movies made all the sense, but they were still rooted somewhat in reality, which was the nice thing about them... this one however almost borders on fantasy lol also, they really needed to kill off more main people. It felt much too safe. And I think I'm the only person who doesn't like Mindy. She was alright in part 5, but here I just didn't care... I say get rid of the twins and get Martha back!! |

Right now, I've watched almost all but one episode of Dopesick.
I knew the opioid crisis was bad, but I could never imagine the extent of how far Purdue and its owners went to push this on everyone for literally anything! It genuinely upsets me.
I also just started watching The Dropout, yet another series based on real events.
Both series are on Disney +.

I just finished all 11 seasons of The Walking Dead, I needed a break from stuff based on real life events. However, I am back at it and halfway through The Nurse on Netflix. |

Fellow Travelers I read the book years ago and loved it.. and the show brings me to tears too  (I hear it's a miniseries, so there's only a couple of episodes left) And damn... Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey know how to steam up a scene  very sexy and so heartbreaking all in one! Definitely recommend it! |
