Yeah, I don't know if it's her insecurities about her body image rushing back these years, but it's weird seeing her always so covered up. And that full body suit during BT and Secrets doesn't do her any favors or her hotness any justice IMO. Tbh most of the wardrobe this tour is not really it IMO
She's still super duper sexy! But I think she doesn't feel like showing her stomach off which was pretty much a staple in her career early on lol I remember back in the day everyone wanting to have those side abs she has. There were so many fitness programs and magazines showing people how to get them lol

She probably has this insecurity with her body image, but maybe she feels uncomfortable to reveal her body because her kids are with her, especially her daughter? |

yeh its a hard one because I can kind of see both sides. If I was meant to be going to a concert that was cancelled because she was apparently 'ill' but then saw photos of her on the beach that same day, I would initially question well how can u be not well to perform but you can still sunbathe on a beach'. BUT. a doctor probably has ruled her unfit to perform a really high energised show and with 2 young kids she cant exactly sit in a hotel room all day doing nothing in saying that she doesn't look unwell in that photo. and I know this is bad manners to point out but look at her stomach, is that a small bump?? Nooooo? I was more surprised how flat her stomach looked there. I mean we had our suspicions before in that other thread  But who knows, could be 🤷🏽♀️ yeh must admit looking at the photo again today, I think its just the way shes sitting. don't know what I saw yesterday lol |

She probably has this insecurity with her body image, but maybe she feels uncomfortable to reveal her body because her kids are with her, especially her daughter? I think she could lose more weight if she really wanted to, but that she doesn't on principle, because of the message it would send to her daughter. When you consider what she said about not changing her body in her 2017 VMAs speach, it puts this into more context. |

When you consider what she said about not changing her body in her 2017 VMAs speach, it puts this into more context. Sometimes, she seems to be trapped in this image she created. She wants to be this role model, so she can't be as provocative or sexy as she was before. Or if she is, it's always with some moderation. That's my impression. |

Sounds serious though: she was hospitalised for dehydration and gastric virus I think dehydration comes with gastric virus since it’s almost impossible to even keep water you drink and let’s not talk about food  But yah, going to the beach with the kids wasn’t the best idea I guess. I hope she knows she has to put her health before anything, even the kids. I mean, let Carey take care of them or a babysitter, a friend or whatever. I’m sure they will be ok with that... |

Tuesday show cancelled too now, not really surprising.
I'd be surprised if any of the remaining Sydney shows this week go ahead.
Given she clearly pushed herself too far by performing Saturday i think she'll be told to take a full break in order to recover fully and not relapse.
Just hope she recovers soon and gets back to her best but in her own time, and she will I'm sure rearrange the shows where at all possible.
It sucks for the fans obviously to miss out, I went through the same situation with the Birmingham show on the TTAL tour but ultimately her well being is the most important thing

I don’t know who asked about steroids, but they are to help the lungs. She did have an upper respiratory infection when she was photographed on the beach. I think it’s now changed to this gastro which has actually been going around my kids school at the moment also. It’s not nice at all.
Now I get why she hasn’t announced tour dates for Europe. She may need a longer rest after she finishes here, if she finishes here.
I knew she was off on her first Melbourne show, she just seemed tired and off. Hope she gets the rest she needs.
