I try to understand some of the lyrics. But I don't know ANYTHING about people Eminem disses. Lil-something, Lil-somethingElse, Lord Jamar, Earl "the hooded Sweater" (I don't even know who they are). Drake, Machine Gun Kelly, Migos... I know they are rappers, but have no idea of their conflict. Eminem was the first and is still the only rapper that I love. So when he refers to them, I'm like "I don't care about them!" That's a problem for me. I know who some of them are but don’t know the background on all the beefs. I know Lil Pump and Lil Xan are like some of the new rap shit that I don’t understand at all.... it’s all that super young kid face tattoo SoundCloud mumble drug rap shit..... I really hope that stuff doesn’t last long. I love the line “do you have any idea how much I hate this choppy flow” to me, so much rap stuff sounds alike these days and everybody is trying to sound like that. Nobody is being creative... Some of the other names are like actual established artists. I don’t know where all the problems originated. But I have fun reading in to what happened to provoke the mentioning them in the tracks..... to me it’s fun  |

OK I’m ready. My top 3; #1 Kamikaze #2 Normal #3 Greatest I had no problem choosing the first two. The third one took me ages. I love the last verse and the bass in Nice guy, I love Fall and Good guy a lot equally both lyrically and musically. Also the Ringer and Venom are 🔥🔥🔥 Lucky you, Stepping stone and Not alike are great songs and will probably be my favorites later (it always turns around like that for me) but for now my least favs. I really love these 3 songs. They were in my top 3-4 after my first listen. I have not complete my ranking yet, cause I'm still trying to understand the lyrics, I need the "urban dictionary" hahaha. I like to write my first feelings when I hear a song for the first 2-3 times. My general impression, what it sounds like...And months later, I laught at myself because I changed my mind so much. I always do that for Pink's new songs, and this time, I try with Em. Same here! I also do that. Hahahahaha. It’s fun how it’s usually like that. Kamikaze and Normal were my favs from first listen. Greatest was one of the two that got 3 points, but that changed fast after a few listens. I’m happy with the album. I can’t believe Pink hasn’t said a word about it though. Literally everyone has. |

I really need to crack down and listen to all he lyrics on the album closely (I need Beeeatssss).... I heard him mention Eddie Brock at the end, Eddie Brock is the character who the the alien symbiote takes over to become be venom.... the symbiote is what gives him the powers. It’s like a parasite and uses Eddie Brock’s body as the host basically and eventually like completely and I think irreversibly latches in to him - like.... that’s a simplified version or whatever. Eminem has obviously a plan with that. Everyone’s doing exactly what he wants atm probably. But why? He wants ppl in the rap world to step it up?
