That was 2009 (read 2011 somewhere else). But still it doesn't matter when it was. I still think he needs a spank for saying that.

He recently also rapped "I used to dream one day I'd be fucking pink like a flamingo", even thought you can read it both ways I'm sure he means our P!nk. And you can choose to be upset with that or leave it. There's a reason Secret service in America had to call him in too, to see if he's serious or not lol. Also the gay thing and Elton John. I donno, I wouldn't really take him too serious even though I agree with you that some things are not to joke with.

I mean i understand that this is part of his artistic expression and a huge part of hip-hop culture is misogyny and treating women as objects or just sexual things (which is also not okay to start with imo) but i feel like a 15-year-old boy wouldnt necessarily understand that but just think that Eminem is so cool and everything he does is so cool so beating and degrading women is okay (among other problematic things). I just feel like these artists have a huge responsibility in these issues and maybe somehow should speak up against violence of any kind really. But these are just my thoughts in this matter 🤷🏼♀️ and i guess it’s very complicated

Especially the song Kim (he literally kills his ex in the song). And what you say is right and I think I even mentioned the same thing here before as well. In the different Eminem FB groups you can notice some people are literally so fucking stupid and don't get it, and take it literally. Misunderstanding in the worst kind of ways unfortunately. He has amazing music too, and he is a lyrical genius and great in many ways but some things suck indeed.

Urghhh just heard it. I always feel so sick and heartbroken listening to it. And I could cry any second.
I think he’d probably killed her for reals if he wasn’t able to write it down and put it into words and make music of it.
On the other hand, there are a gazillion movies out there for “entertainment” where people get slaughtered and other shit.
It’s art I guess 🤷♀️ And for sure making impacts.

Even if he is in fact capable of being a decent human being. I know he’s great. When i was with Ivan who’s a huge fan we listened to a lot of his stuff. Space Bound was “our song”. But then love turned evol and i haven’t listened too much since then.

I think his harsh side (not talking about the mean dorky goofy childish side) has to do with his hate towards his mama and the fact that his dad left him before he could even make a memory of him and he grew up without one and his uncle killing himself and his best friend gets murdered, and let’s not talk about his childhood being bullied and beaten up he ended up in coma. And then his and Kim’s doomed destructive relationship. Like I said in the other thread, if you seen Joker the new movie, he’s just that but without a tragic ending (🤞). I’ve no doubt his heart is huge. It’s all so unfortunate. Ohh. I absolutely love that song too 💔 and I saw Ivan this summer. He seemed to be doing ok.

That’s good to hear. Our breakup was super ugly and we haven’t spoken since then but i dont wish him anything bad.
