Where do I start?
We (me, Paul and Jeffrey) all worked very hard to be able to do this trip at all, and let's not talk about the amount of time we spent planning it - all with so much excitement, love and joy.
I don't even wanna talk about Inglewood and that motel we stayed at. The highlight was the germans joining us in the car to Vegas. Let's leave it there.
Vegas was crazy - so much fun, late nights, early mornings, no sleep, buffets with amazing foods, loads of laughter, loads of drama, pool parties from morning til evening, jacuzzi in the room, going to bed early for Pink show just to be fresh and sober the next day but ending up finding the lucky slot machine and winning 325 dollars and getting drunk even before 9.00 am on show day, then falling asleep at pool for two hours with face up, show time Jeffrey falling asleep on the speakers standing upright, me and the germans and Paul, Diane and Jamie enjoying the show together. Vegas - where everything planned never happens.
This is also the show when Pink took the book. We hung out after show with a couple band members and it was so great to see them all again. I already wrote about the Las Vegas show on here, mostly because I was being asked by so many of you about how it was and if she got the fan book and how her reaction was.
And then Magic mike show was amazing too, with the guys and Diane and me being more shy than Paul (who had nightmares about this show for months) and then getting about eight lap dances and somehow a love song dedicated to me where in the end everyone was shouting Dani Dani Dani. And as if things couldn't get more crazy Diane was brought up on to a piano to lay there looking all sexy, haha. Was this because we were the quietest and shyest in the venue?
My initial plan was to write a full story about everything once I got back home, but what else would have kept me occupied in the car for 10 hours driving from Vegas to San Diego if not writing a review about Vegas (well except for fighting with Paul) But to add anything to that it is that the first show is always something special to me. The wait, the excitement, the energy. I had looked at the setlist once and a few photos and short clips, but nothing else. Every show that followed was different in some way. Just even seeing it from different pits made it all feel like a new experience (especially with Jeremy dancing right in front of my face looking at me so intensely that I had to turn away, or actually turn my back against him, because I was just too shy), haha. Paul shouted DANI I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU. Well, Paul, if you like Jeremy that much then go for it You'd have better luck than me. I'd however wished that I had done one show from seats too since we had tickets in San Diego - but all of our friends were in pit, so I had no good arguments to stay seated. Next time maybe someone's up for it :-)
In San Diego Pink gave us so much love and appreciation, both tweeting about the book (which I never ever had thought she'd do tbh, since she gets a lot of fan things), so that was a shocker to me and I was really happy about that. Then she kept saying thank you for the book through out the gig. I mean, are you kidding me? You deserve a gazillion books and so much love that's not even imaginable for a human being! But I think she got a hint about how much we love and appreciate her, and that was my main goal. On this show she also signed my BT album and wrote I <3 U on it. That was soooo cute! It's been ages ago I asked her to sign something so I felt a bit greedy, since she already signed everything she could ever sign for me. AND she gave Jeffrey a little bottle of tequila an me a little bottle of Jameson, that she had got from a fan. And we didn't even stand next to each other. I guess she remembers us two liking alcohol a little bit more than anyone else, ha. I also managed to catch another drumstick from Mark that I gave to Paul, so all three of us got one After show we hung out with the band. They're always so nice
For Staples show Jeffrey and I dressed up as Pink please don't leave me and Pink don't let me get me. We got this idea months ago to do something funny at one of the shows. So after some wine and some Googling a few nights, I found the same dress as she wore in the video and for Jeffrey's part we found the same fabric as she had for her shirt in Don't let me get me. So Jeff got his costume and dreads sewed by hand by his friend and I ordered my things shipped to him because shipping to Sweden was about 200 USD (I had no idea if it'd fit! Everyone kept saying sizes were too small order a size up, so I ordered medium but when I tried it in Vegas it ended up being too big anyway and moving around my body wayyy too easily, hahahaha, with boobs all over the place. But it was good however, meaning I could actually eat for two or three, woooohooo!).Yvette was helpful with the makeup so I knew what to get. On the day of the show we spent half day buying the last things we needed. I cut my wig hair with my toe nail scissors since I had nothing at our hotel and the hair was too long in the neck. Haha, took ages but I think it turned out fine. We spent in total one hour to get ready with makeup and everything else. To be honest, I think we'd needed at least three hours, since I had to do Jeffrey's makeup too. Stressful but so worth it and fuck it if everything on my face fell off ten minutes into the show. I watched some videos and damn can I be still for ten seconds even? I guess Pink gets me sweatin' We had so much fun before the show too, with people asking for pics and just giving us compliments asking if we were a part of the show, haha. Loved it and definitely something we'll keep doing for upcoming shows! Pink said we were better than the original - AS IF. Have you seen yourself, gurl? Also, I think it was after So what, she ran on stage and all of sudden stopped where we stood and laid down so we could get a pic together. I swear that is when I realized the level of retard that I am at, because it literally felt like 00000,5 seconds and it was over. I don't think I even managed to realize what happened. But I was super happy she thought of us and came by so Pink and Pink could make a pic with Pink. She's really the kindest and the best (for me it's been about 10 years ago since the last pic we took together so I'm super happy we made it once again).
The last show was the day I told the guys that I wish we had had a day off and that the show was June 2nd instead. I was not ready for the last show at all. Tbh, I felt a bit off before the show. And not because I always think it's kinda sad with the last shows, but also because I like longing for it. And I didn't feel it at all when we left for venue. I got excited there in the queue with my new friend Zoe. She was the sweetest little girl ever. She totally got me in the right mood. She said she never dance because she's so bad at dancing. We ended up dancing together until Pink came on and her mom had to pull her back to their spot. However before the show started she told me her idol was Michael Jackson but she loved Pink and was excited to see her for the first time. After the Pink show I asked her what she thought and if Pink was better than MJ and she said "they're both better than each other". The day before the show we had seen Gwen Stefani at Staples and us crazies thought what if Eminem is coming to surprise for the last show. But after Googling we noticed that he had a show in NYC himself. Also IND was the best last night with her sitting down in front of us sining to us WOOOP WOOP. It's cute that not many fans know the words to that song and she still wants to do it - I love that.
To sum up what I thought about Pink's Beautiful Trauma show is that it is the best show I have seen. She might be running, jumping, dancing, flying a lot more than before - and anyone saying that it's bad is only the ego speaking because it wants attention. What she/they are doing is just FANTASTIC. I usually am good with words but I fucking suck at describing what I felt seeing this show. I had for example different favorite parts of each show. Well that speech hit me hard (in a good way) every night but besides that, one night my favorite was Secrets and I am here, next night it was Barbies and What about us, third night it was Just like fire and Smells like teen spirit, last night it was Revenge and Glitter in the air, etc. OK, WHO AM I KIDDING I LOVED SECRETS EVERY NIGHT EQUALLY OR MORE. One thing I'd change is Barbies with I am here. I am here is just sooo fucking fun that you kinda want Barbies to pass so I am here could just come!!! So if I were them I'd go with I am here first, then Barbies and then Fucking perfect. But that's just me. Also, I donno what I think about the bed. It probably looks amazing from afar, but from pit it's kinda boring. However, this show is for everyone and definitely something to not go see only once (if you can afford it more of course!). I don't know how she does it but it doesn't matter how big the venue is, she with the band and dancers, will make you feel seen and suck you right into whatever they're doing on stage. BEWARE - it's addicting!
I have amazing pictures and videos but YT is being a bitch so ATM it'll have to wait until tomorrow. But for those of you who haven't seen anything on my Instagram yet, here are some photos (ps. you can swipe on most of them!).
