Lupita Nyong'o.... I've liked her in everything I've seen her in. (Black Panther, the new Star Wars films, 12 Years A Slave, and recently US) And she always seems to play tough characters.... I was reading or listening to an interview a while back where she talked about being a kid, and being super excited seeing Return of the Jedi because of Nien Nunb .... (sorry for the nerd stuff) but Nien Nunb was the alien creature that acted as Lando's co-pilot in blowing up the 2nd death star. 😬 The actor that did Nien Nunb's voice was Kenyan (i believe) and Lupita is also from Kenya (i think) 😬 anyway when creating the language that Nien Nunb speaks (not english) they used bits and pieces of the same Kenyan language that Lupita spoke. She was super excited and happy about that, hearing her language on the big screen, and remained a fan into adulthood. She now does Maz's voice in the new trilogy. 🤓 sorry for that.... I know I've heard her talk in other interviews, and she has always seemed like a cool down to earth confident person. I like her. I think she'll have a long successful career. :] oh and shes pretty 😬  |
