But i do think the issue with TF is she spent too long 'curating' it as she said. She only spent 5 months working on IND and TTAL and a year on funhouse and they are her best albums whereas she spent 3 years on TF and its her worst album arguably Are we sure it’s arguable? well tbh i was trying to be diplomatic there lol |

Looks like she's not that inspired anymore lately, but I hope this will change in the future. But she must be inspired if shes already asking people to work with her on her next album, no?? |

Yeah probably it's not about the time, but about inspiration. Looks like she's not that inspired anymore lately, but I hope this will change in the future. I'm sure she's had some emotions about her father passing, but other than that I can't imagine much that would really inspire some excellent songs. Although as I write this I'm thinking about her dad's passing, politics, war, consumerism, and her children growing up that may inspire her. |

TBH Am i the only one who thinks her kids growing up might be positive for her as she might not feel the need to censor herself as much? I know Jameson is still only 8 in December but he wont be around as much when shes recording as he'll have school and stuff. So I am kind of hoping especially now Willow is 13, she can start to distance herself from them on her music [obviously i dont mean as a mum lol] and go back to releasing more daring grown up music. I also think she'll have more free time to work on !10 as her kids are in full time education and not so dependant on her which is why maybe the album process might be quicker this time Also the thing is i get what cal is saying but what does she do?? wait until something bad to happen in her life so she can make another album?? she would have to say to Carey 'sorry babe we need to break up again, i need to make a new album' lol. She wrote Raise Your Glass happy, she cant just rely on her life to fuck up to make another album lol. tbh i know this might sound stupid but i dont even want her to be 'inspired' because i dont want a deep album full of ballads, i just want a fun uptempo album |
