Every morning I wake up and as soon as I open my eyes I say thank you out loud, and not once have I done it without getting tears in my eyes. There's really so much power in them two words. I donno why I'm even writing this here, but in case someone hasn't tried it, do it.

I donno why I'm even writing this here, but in case someone hasn't tried it, do it. My 14 y.o son told me recently that the first thing he thinks when he wakes up is "thank you, the night didn't killed me". Maybe it's a teen version of that. I love it.

That's one way to see it It's definitely individual what we are grateful for. But saying thank you out loud has both sent shivers down my body and tears to my eyes. Love that it's not "just two words" so to say
