Getting medical updates on my friend who was in a bad car accident Sun/Mon. this is so scary... at one point they though she was going to lose her foot. they talked about bleeding in the brain and swelling. i guess the swelling isn’t severe, but there is still bleeding there. two skull fractures. and her eye is unresponsive (however it’s too early know exactly what that means yet) She is still being kept under as a medical precaution. I thought she was going to be woken last night. its a fucking rollercoaster for sure. positive thoughts and prayers (even though I’m not the praying type usually - if there’s a chance it might do something positive I’ll give it a shot)  <3 |

So I’m hearing the term now “critical-condition”, which I always equated to super bad might not make it., but maybe I haven’t had a clear grasp on what that term meant. It’s scary as shit - but I guess it’s considered critical anytime somebody can’t breathe on their own - she is hooked up to machines and in a medically induced coma. So much back and forth trying to figure out exactly what’s going on, but it sounds like they are hopeful to wake her tomorrow. She had another surgery today for internal bleeding in the stomach. Uggggggh I just want everything to be ok. Her Dad is flying out tonight to be with her. So that’s a little bit of a positive thing to hear for me. She needs to have somebody by her side when she comes to. <3 |

Sending you as much love and support as I possibly can and hopeful for your friend to get through this soon ❤❤ As someone who has spent far too much time speaking with doctors, visiting hospitals with a family member and trying to understand complicated words and phrases which noone gets, I completely understand how scary it all is, even if you're not directly involved. Glad her dad is flying out to be with her and hope you're doing ok aswell ❤ |

I'm kinda anti medicine overall, haha. I think I take one headache pill every year (I never have headaches). I believe in healing naturally  I was surprised the coughing meds worked so well tbh I remember mom gave it to me when I was a kid. Didn't know what it did but I remember I had to take it |
