Just heard it. Y'all are overblowing it. It's actually a fairly nice song. I don't think it's her best by any means, it's not amazing. But I still like it, it's nice and chill and has a decent beat. It's really short though...
But it is not bad.

It's really short though... But it is not bad. it really is embarrassingly bad in my opinion. Probably the worst she’s ever done and that’s counting Waterfall and We’ve Got Scurvy. I don’t think that is an exaggeration. But each to their own. It might not be a bad song in general (already debatable really) but definitely NOT by her standards. This woman wrote Family Portrait for fuck’s sake and now she sings something like “dreaming till the sun goes down” with fucking Sting to a really generic and stupid Marshmello beat. Just ew. Sorry i just got really worked up because i am mad at how bad this song is, as far as we know the only addition to a deluxe edition of her album for which she says she wrote/recorded many many songs. Wtf is this then. I pray to the heavens that it was “leaked” so much in advance so that they can gauge the reactions and decide to silently bury it and instead include some live recordings for the deluxe version which is boring but at least not a cringefest. Sorry. Rant over. |

The thing is that it really sounds like a Fields of Gold remix ( or something like that). It shouldn't even be on the deluxe, let alone become a single... I don't get it, maybe it has nothing to do with the deluxe, and just a little collaboration with Sting. 🤔
