42. Got into her with There You Go but didn’t purchase her album until You Make Me Sick. I’ve been a fan since the very beginning. I know most of us are in our early 40s, just like her haha. You are from the USA? (you mentioned 9/11) Canada, but we get a lot of US stations in the lower regions of Ontario. |

I'm 32, and I became a fan during M!ss era. I remember that CTMH didn't really make it here (Chile) and I was obsessed with Lady Marmalade and then I saw on MTV the video for GTPS (as a new release lol) and loved it! Then DLMGM came out and I asked my mom if she could buy the album for me. She did and I just fell in love. I've been a massive fan ever since.
I've never been to one of her shows though, she's never been to South America. But even from afar, she also gave me the courage to embrace who I was as a queer kid and I will forever admire her and be thankful for everything that she's given us.
