Some of ya'll are fussy! I'll pretty much take whatever she gives me. I agree, but I just want it to be new, as in new performances and new refreshed feel to the whole show. That’s all I want!! Not a lot to ask for, what she sings is important but not as important as the look and feel of the show and the sound, please have better sound than BT tour. 😩🙏 I hear you there. I do hope for some changes in terms of look and feel, but I am not too stressed when it comes to particular song choices as I have a good feeling that a chunk of the new album will do a lot of that refreshing by default. |

Ok I’ve been listening to a lot of tracks to try and picture the opening of the tour!! I have time on my hands yes! And I can’t find a track that has the same explosive chorus to make a big entrance like RYG did, apart from Just Like Fire. Live that could work I know she doesn’t love the song and many of us are not keen but as an opener it could be amazing. Aerial easily as words in chorus fit for flying and I think it would be great. I can’t see any other song working unless it’s just a anti climax opening like last tour but I’m kind of hoping for an explosive entrance. Of course revamping a song can work too, I’m just going by recordings. Anyway just my little thought for the day. 37 days to go for me I’m getting so anxious that these little things make all the difference you know!!

I know what I don't what to hear:
Just Like Fire - so boring. Also, the song has aged terribly.
River - C'mon. Enough is enough.
Raise Your Glass - love the song, but the time to go to retirement.

I agree with everthing except RYG. It really gets the crowd jamming so I think it should be kept. She said she gets tired of it though, so who knows. I'd rather see Blow Me leave, or GTPS. Also please no more Funhouse. |

Also please no more Funhouse. Completely agree. Blow Me should be out for sure, but I fear Funhouse/Just A Girl will stay at least in London because Gwen is performing with her. I love Funhouse, especially its bridge, but I think she should really rethink her setlists. There are so many songs worth performing from her catalog and she should stop doing GH tours to cater to the masses. Most people are completely fine hearing her biggest hits, and the rest could be changing. Time to do transitions, mashups and intro/outros, and time to work the crowd. Enough of the long video breaks, if she means that music should stay in focus, then do it properly. I am somewhat hopeful with the new band and backup singers that fresh things will come, because it IS necessary. I've been to massive concerts where the music was in focus and the visuals were jawdropping but they always supported the music like a warm hug, but never overshadowing it. Sober and Glitter worked magically with the songs and their lyrics, I really hope she can find that magical balance again. |
